I have been charting for 6 months and ovulate VERY regularly! I take the digital OPK tests, so there's no questioning if I get a positive. I got my smiley face on 2/16 and got crosshairs a few days later, showing that I O'd on CD 16. Yesterday FF changed my crosshairs to a dotted line and put me O'ing on CD 23. I've NEVER O'd later than CD 18. My cycles are also 30 - 32 days without fail. My period has always been very regular, so this is freaking me out a little.

Today would normally be 13 dpo and I always spot by now. Nothing. What do ya'll think? Did the 100 mg of Clomid screw up my regularity?

Thanks!!

Temps can be off for many reason, they are not 100% reliable. I use to chart and that happened to me a few times too, my O date being screwed up. Clomid always made me O earlier not later, but it affects us all differently. I really think it is just a temp being off, especially if you got a pos OPK (can you get two pos OPK's in a cycle??) but let's see what the other girls think!

I just finished my 1st dose of Clomid & it made my cycle longer. I didn't get a +opk until day 16. In the past, I have had 2 +opk results two days in a row. I used to chart w/a computer program & there were a few times it disagreed w/my opk results;although it doesn't take much to throw your temp off. Also, you can get +opk test yet not O for a variety of reasons. Sometimes the body will "try again" a few days later & then be successful. That happened to me once when I got really sick & my body seemed to "shut down" until several days later. Good luck!

Is that the first time you've taken that high of a dose? Clomid, even on a high dose, has only made me ovulate 1-2 days later, but I know of women being extended over 10 days

Thank you for the insight ladies. This is my 2nd month of Clomid and my first time taking 100 mg. I'm supposed to see AF on Sunday and she's showing no signs, which is rare. My temps are so bad, I just don't think I'm pregnant and I don't want to waste my last FRER testing this early.

I'll keep ya'll posted!

Ok if it's the first time that high on the dose, I think Clomid delayed you. Don't waste the FRER

Now I'll be stalking!! It also means you DTD at totally the right time

Thanks again for your thoughts. I started spotting today which is how AF always arrives. I'm a little bit relieved to know my cycle is still normal but of course sad that I'm not pregnant. We have an appt. with the RE on March 31 so hopefully I can get some answers.

Lindsey are you having any monitoring with your clomid? Just wondering if it's affecting your lining and that is why you aren't spotting like normal?

Keep us posted!

Kari, I didn't get monitored this month. I'm paying for everything out of pocket and told my OB/Gyn that if it wasn't absolutely necessary, then I didn't want to get any testing done. She said that wasn't a problem.

As for my spotting, it started on Saturday morning and I started AF today. That was pretty much right on schedule.

Do you think it's bad that I'm not getting monitored while on Clomid?

I never got monitored on clomid unless I was doing an IUI cycle and then I had a follicle check mid cycle.

It's really not a good idea to get monitored at least once to check on your lining. Clomid can wreck havoc on it and if you need some there are supplements you can take to help it out.
