The wait is horrible, but it all depends when the little egg implanted. Could just be a late implanter, which would be the reason you tests are negative. I really don't think you are out just yet, give it a couple more days and test again. Are you going in for a blood draw to test at all? 12 days still may be too early! Good luck!

My beta at 16DPO was only 12.4...sometimes (especially with IVF) those little ones can take longer to implant and get started. Good luck!

I got my first very faint BFP 12dpo with IVF. It stayed very faint, my last one I did at home was 17 DPO and still very faint, same as on 12dpo. I ended up getting a digital that was BFP on 15 DPO. But my beta was also low....its going to depend on the sensitivity of the test.

Melissa, I am glad you posted this...my beta on 16dpo was 85, and today at 19 dpo is 265....I was worried it was so low. You made me feel better! I hope you are doing well!

Also wanted to add, if you're on progesterone that will delay your period until you stop the progesterone. I would def make sure to get a blood test before stopping the progesterone though, I'd probably wait till 14 dpo at the earliest though, as the ladies said with IVF sometimes the beans implant a little later.

Here are my betas in case you are curious:

14DPO: 11.8
16DPO: 12.4
20DPO: 95
22DPO: 286
27DPO: 1632

I was told after my 16DPO appointment that I did not have a viable pregnancy, so we were all surprised when we got the next set of numbers! I have since read lots and lots of stories about very low betas when doing IVF, so definitely don't give up on your bean(s)!

Good luck! I would ask for some b/w sooner than 21dpo... if you are preggo you want to stay on top of things.
