I was supposed to have my post op appointment on the 9th but I called today and rescheduled for tomorrow. I'm having major ovary pains and really bad nausea. If it weren't for AF two weeks ago I would swear I was pregnant. The nausea just kinda goes away around 1 or 2 in the afternoon. I'm guessing it's just hormones and my body may actually be gearing up to O for the first time in 8 years (6 1/2 of BC and 1 1/2 of stupid PCOS/blocked tube). I'm hoping I can finagle an ultrasound so he can see if I have an follies. When I leave there I'll either have meds or an appointment to a RE, maybe both!! It's my birthday tomorrow so I'm hoping that brings me good luck

It went OK. He explained what he found during the surgery. I can't remember what the cyst was called but it was some kind that I was born with, sometimes they get bigger, sometimes they don't. It was on my tube and keeping it from being able to move. I'm supposed to call on CD1 and get my prescription for Clomid called in. He wants us to try for 6 months before sending me to a RE. I'm not exactly thrilled about that but understand. We may have been trying for over a year but since my body wasn't working properly we weren't *really* trying.

By the way, how long after taking the last Clomid pill did most of you guys ovulate? DH has to go to WLC in April. As long as AF shows when she's supposed to that'll be on CD18.,,,

Are they doing ultrasounds to watch your follies while on it?

I don't know when I would have ovulated on it if we didn't do a trigger shot so I'm not much help sorry.

Even on the clomid I didn't ovulate on my own, I always triggered. That being said, my follies were usually ready but CD 14ish.

I second Lindsey, are you going to get some monitoring done to see if your follies are responding well and lining looks good?

He didn't say anything about being monitored but when I call I'm going to ask about it. I'm sure they won't have a problem with it. I know I want to make sure everything looks good and is working right. I also don't want to end up like John and Kate
