I have been on lupron for 10 days now and had my estrodiol levels taken (thats FSH right?) and it was 26. I have no idea what that number means and when I google it just says over 75 is poor ovarian reserve and normal is under 10??? What should my number be on lupron??? I am not really on a CD. Today was suppose to be my baseline and I have a 16mm cyst (already going away) and my lining is at 15 so I need it to shed (never got a AF on lupron, but it would be about CD 2 or 3 if I had right now). I go back in one week, but I highly doubt my period will start since I am suppose to keep taking the lupron. I don't want to waste a week. What should I do? Wait it out, ask for a med? All ready feeling defeated and I haven't even started very far into IVF...

AF has started this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH for CD ONE!!!!

Estrodiol is E2 or Estrogen! You want that to be low at the beginning of your cycle, then the number will climb as your follies mature. Around ovulation, your E2/Estrodiol will be about 200 per mature follicle.

My E2 was 27 at my baseline appointment which is right where it should be. Your E2 number sounds fine. What was your FSH number? That one should be lower, and I want to say that is the number they use to figure out ovarian reserve.

AHHH, thank you ladies, I have been freaking out at that number and my clinic was closed when I tried to call. They put my lab results online and I can look at them so I knew early. I didn't get an FSH result. I am assuming because I am not on a CD yet, just waiting for AF? I wish AF would start!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lets get this show on the road! I need my lining to go down (can it do that w/o AF??)!

They usually do FSH levels before you cycle in before Lupron. Most places like to see under a 12.0. Anything over can mean decrease ovarian reserves.

Any E2 level under 100 is wonderful. It means Lupron did its job :-)

Your period will come even on the lupron, generally around when you should expect your AF in general. If the cyst is already going away your progesterone is dropping and AF should come a knockin.

Docs like to see over a 9mm lining that is "tripled" for a successful IVF. They don't like to see too thick of a lining either (not sure if 15 is considered too thick or not.... )

Good Luck!

Couldn't have said it better than the other ladies. I hope that AF shows up VERY SOON so that you can get the show on the road!!!
