At how many DPO do you usually get your progesterone checked to see if you actually O'd? My doctor said I would come in on CD23 with my Clomid cycle next month. I'm seriously considering calling his nurse tomorrow to see if I can have it done this month just to see if I actually did ovulate. I'm scared my body is gearing up to O like with my monitored cycle but isn't actually going to. I was thinking it was 7 but I'm not positive. I had another positive OPK today so does that mean I'm going to O 12-36 hours from yesterday or does it extend my time frame another day? I know I'm full of questions

I never had my progesterone checked... I was brought in for u/s on CD12-13 to check my follies to make sure they were growing.. but as for confirmation blood work... My dr doesn't do that...

As for your + opks... did you say you tested yesterday and it was +?? And agian today?? It could be a few different things... You could of caught your surge going up... So + yesterday.. your surge could of peaked throughout the night.. and today you caught the surge going down.... Or if you used a FMU.. it could of just been built up in your system.. But I would go with the 12-36 hours from your first + opk!! Good luck!!!!

I tested yesterday about 1:30 and then about 11:00 this morning so I probably caught it on both ends. I should have waited a few more hours. It wasn't first morning first morning but pretty close. DH is a volunteer firefighter. His pager went off three seprate times last night the last at 4:30 which is the last time I went to the bathroom until 11:00.

****I just did another one, 4 1/3 hours after the other and closer to the time I took the one yesterday. The line is still there, almost as dark as the control line but not as dark and now hwere near as dark as yesterday. So I'll call and either get b/w on the 16th or 17th.****

Just a heads up, PCOS can make your OPK's stay positive longer and make OPK's do weird things. (so can clomid..)

I am going to ask for a progesterone check this month since last month my cycle w/ clomid and trigger was only 22 days.

I usually had my levels checked after 7DPO for a base line. I would say that you caught it going up then going down....definitely go and see about the b/w

7dpo is the general rule of thumb... it's when I had mine checked.

With the exception of the first MA cycle they are horrible!!!! Like 4.5 horrible! I ask and they said it's just what they do because if the level is low they want to get the extra ovidrel shot in me asap. i wonder what mine level would be on 7dpo? Would it still be real low?Hmmmmm
