Will bringing all my old medical records help me from having to retest? I know that they'll most likely want to do blood work and so on, but I'd really like to escape doing and paying for HSG's again, or any other major diagnostic tool since we've done them all, including 2 SA's for hubby.

We have a new RE but haven't been in to see them yet. We were continuing with our old doc for this last cycle, but we are so ready to move on to someone else

I haven't switched doctors while in the middle of TTC , but I would think that with recent b/w and stuff that you shouldn't have to retest if the results were consistent. The only thing I could think of they may want again is a SA. I hope your new RE appointment goes well.

I do too! I only have a few covered under my insurance, so if I don't like this group, I'm kinda screwed!

I didn't switch between REs, but when I switched from my OB/GYN to an RE, I had to redo everything except the HSG. I hope that you can convince them it isn't necessary!

I switched from a OB-GYN to RE and I didn't have to re-take any tests (HSG or bloodwork). DH is getting ready for some bloodwork.

I'm wondering too if having the old charts with me will help, and if i'll be forced to get my old charts. I mean I have my HSG scans still, so I wonder if I'll have to go through contacting the old doc and getting all that stuff from them

When I started off with my RE from my OB I didn't have to redo any tests. But honestly, when we do go to see a new RE we will probably request that test be redone. I am fortunate enough to have *some* insurance coverage for things, and I would love to start from scratch and have someone with fresh eyes see everything.

Hope whatever happens the new RE can get you on the right path to your BFP!

When we switched REs, I took my records with me, and managed to escape with only new bloodwork (being done today). KUP on how it goes with the new RE.
