Well, I made it! I'm 12 weeks today....seems like a huge milestone, yet I know I still have a very long (but hopefully UNeventful) road ahead.....

We found out we were carrying nonviable conjoined twins at 12.3 weeks (after 4 previous ultrasounds showed ONE "healthy" baby)....so this is going to be a nerve wracking week to say the least.

My NT Scan is Friday, and I'm just PRAYING that everything looks perfect. I am already head over heels IN LOVE with this baby, and the thought of something going wrong just breaks my heart.....and it's scary to think that I could still lose this bean

I am so beyond thrilled for you, Brandi! I, too, was nervous about something happening...I think it's completely normal-especially with all you've been through. I cannot wait to hear about your awesome NT scan on Friday. Update as soon as you can!

Yay for 12 weeks!!!!!!!!!! I have an amazing feeling about this baby.

I breathed a huge sigh of relief when I made it to 13 weeks (we lost our baby right at 12 weeks so i know the anxiety)

just think...in less than a month you can find out the gender!!!!!!!!!

Thanks girls! My NT Scan is at 9:15, but I have my OB appt. at the same hospital at 11:45, so I won't be able to update until after that....UNLESS, my DHs Ipod touch gets internet in the hossy and then I will update between appts

Christin! Our gender U/S is scheduled for 11:30 on April 10th

My principal at my school had an u/s at 12 weeks (not the NT but one to check for cause of bleeding) at the same place where I'm getting my NT scan and their equip. is SO AWESOME that they were able to clearly tell that she was having a girl I will be 12.5 weeks at my appt., so I'm going to have them take a look....but I won't be convinced until the gender u/s

It would be absolutely awesome if they could tell the gender! We won't share the results with family if we do find out because we are inviting the grandparents to the Gender U/S so we will let them be "surprised" then

It's gonna be great

That is awesome Brandi! I can't believe how fast time is flying!

As far as u/s and gender goes, be extremely cautious this early on. When the sex organs are forming, that area can get large and swollen on a girl and look like budding penis.

I had an u/s at 13 weeks with DD (performed by my OB) and he said "if I had to guess, I'd say it's a boy....but they can REALLY fool you at this stage." Sure enough, around 19-20 weeks, I found out she was a girl.

I have a friend who is about 30 weeks now and when she had her NT scan, the tech told her he was about 75% sure it was a boy....well, she is having a little GIRL.

It is really hard to tell at this stage!

I just know this is your little princess, Brandi!
