Hey ladies! I'm not sure if I will find the answer in here but I have to ask before I venture off to the TTC board. I have noticed a pattern w/ my O'ing. First, I am on thyroid meds & ever since, I have been TOTALLY normal w/ my cycles. They are perfect 28 dayers. No joke. This is after years of TTC & finally going on to IVF to conceive the trio. There is a lesson in all this...check your thyroid levels b/c if they are on the high or low end of normal, it may be the cause of your wonky cycles.

Now, on to the O'ing question. I've noticed the past 7 months that I wake up, in the middle of the night, nauseous 1 or 2 days before I O. At first, I thought it was greasy foods b/c it so happens that I have eaten poorly on SOME but not ALL of those nights.

I know I am in the process of O'ing right now. I've got the most EWCM anyone has ever seen & I tend to want to BD more around O time. I'm technically on CD 13 & will most likely O tonight or tomorrow. Last night at about midnight (always around midnight), I woke up feeling nauseous. Same as last month & the month before that & before that.

Is this weird? Anyone else experience this? I just figure my hormones are so spot on & plentiful that this is the reason. HELP!

Hey Astrid. I believe this is normal. The rise in hormones around that time tend to make a lot of women nauseated...I am get that too. Anytime my hormone levels rise and change from the highs of each (estrogen, lh, progesterone) I get a little nauseated. Although mine doesnt happen at the same time (or least I havnt noticed a specific timing schedule). Its just around the same time frame.

yes, this has always happened to me! I too thought it was yucky foods since I always seemed to eat junk around O time.

I'm still waiting for my first pp AF but a few days ago I had the craving for yucky food and then had my stomach issues the next morning. Then yesterday I woke up with a pimple! which only ever happens during the 2ww so maybe just maybe af will come in a week or so..

Yep, it's never woken me up, but I tend to feel a bit off during O-time... IF I O at all.

The "No we're not TTC" bit made me giggle.... you have your hands full girl!

Very full, LOL! If we weren't so careful, we would end up being one of "those" infertility couples that had IVF & then spontaneously conceived. ACK! I couldn't imagine having another!

As much as I know you can't imagine it.... *IF* it did happen... you'd pull up your "Super-mom boot straps" and make it all work! And probably love every minute of it!
