Ya'll know I recently accepted a job with a company that pays 100% ( I originally thought only 90%, but was pleasantly surprised when I signed up for my insurance and saw the 100% plan) of all infertility including drugs. I just found out that my company was bought and we will be owned by another co. in November. I have no clue if the new co. will pay for infertility, so I asked my RE if I could skip the IUI's and go straight to IVF. I explained the circumstances and he said yes.

I'm starting BC tomorrow and then next month I'll do my first IVF. Talk about the fast track to a baby!!!

I'm sure I'll have a million questions for you ladies who have done IVF, so please don't kick me off the boards!

Yay!! That's so exciting! I'm glad that you got the okay to skip the IUI's and go straight to IVF - since it sounds like that's what you really wanted. And it's SO amazing that your insurance will cover the cost of it! I'm really happy for you!

I'm also hoping to being starting IVF soon. I have an appt with my RE in 12 days and am pretty sure that she will suggest that as the next step. I feel like you do and am really ready to fast track this whole thing! I'll be glad to have someone else starting around the same time - we can compare notes

Best,

Jenn

I'll take all the cycle buddies/prayers/well wished I can get! I go in Sunday for CD 3 bloodwork and ultrasound. I meet with my RE and start BC Wednesday. My retrieval is scheduled for the first week in November.

This is really happening!!!!!!!!!

Wow you ARE on the fast track and I don't blame you. I'm sure you are sick and tired of waiting. I can't wait until you are off the pill and starting your meds. After 5 weeks on the pill, I started injectables for my IVF cycle last week. I'm no expert but if you have questions, I'm an open book. Good luck! I think the worst part might just be all the IVF paperwork!
