This is my first cycle trying clomid, I am currently on CD 22 and took Clomid on days 3-7. My OB told me that it could make me moody

Omg, does anyone else feel like they want to kill someone all the freaking time! I am SO crabby, and i hate it! I don't know if I am just craby and blaming it on the clomid, but i don't think i have ever been this moody in my life! Has anyone else had experience with being moody, and was it the whole month, after or before you O'ed? I don't know if I can even blame this on Clomid if its only supposed to make you moody when you take the pills.

Clomid can most definitely make you feel moody and it can last through your whole cycle. Clomid builds up in your system over time so each cycle might get worse and worse.

I hope that all these mood-swings pay off in the end for you!

I've been on Clomid for 3 cycles and I can totally relate to the I want to kill someone feeling. The higher the dose, the worse it was for me. This past cycle I took 200mg CD 3-4 and almost killed one of my co-workers For me, the side effects lasted about a week or so after my last dose. I'm on CD 15 today and am back to myself

Hang in there! It will get better, I promise!

I didn't feel that way until the second cycle with Clomid. I actually ended up getting in trouble at work for being sassy. It's pretty ridiculous what we put ourselves through, but it's good to know that the effects aren't permanent!

The RE asked DH if it made me moody. DH's reply "no more than usual. But I have caught her with her head in the freezer while on it."

It's known for causing moodiness.

Clomid made me awful! My husband hid from the whole week after I took them.

Clomid makes me horribly mean! I hated myself every time I've taken it. And the one time I took it for 5 months straight and it got worse every cycle. HUGS! I hope it pays you in the end and you get your BFP

I also have a hubby that is glad I'm done with Clomid forever. I was not nice a lot of the time I was on it.

I only took Clomid for one cycle before getting pregnant with Landon, it made me slightly moody. I was able to control it fairly well.

I think I am always moody around that time so it is hard to tell! I knew it might make me moodier and I think I controled it pretty well or maybe my DH feared for his life and kept quiet!
