Just got a text from our Shantel. She called the nurse line this afternoon because she wasn't feeling good, her hands were REALLY swollen and her feet were feeling numb. They directed her to the hospital and she is now waiting for the on-call doctor to check her out.

Please pray for good news.....

Yikes! I pray it's nothing! Pregnancy does crazy things to a woman's body so I'm praying there's a simple explanation! Lots of prayers headed Shantel's way!

I hope it's nothing! I had pre-e with Alex...and she is absolutely perfect If it is pre-e, they'll likely put her on bp meds and/or bed rest...but that means you also might meet your little girl around 37 weeks...

Whatever it is, I truly hope it's not serious!

Good news!

She was monitored for about an hour, her bp was pretty high but was coming down slowly. They ran a bunch of b/w because her iron was low with her twins. The DR came in and told her to take it easy, she has her regular DR appt. this Friday and if her BP is still high and the swelling is still bad they will address it then. So far... it's alright.

She and her boyfriend still came over for dinner tonight. It was nice to give her a hug and feel that baby kick. We had tacos and then I got to show her the stuff we have gotten for the nursery and baby. We then watched a movie and then took them home. It was just really relaxing and comfortable.

BUT..... I'm saving the BEST part for last!!!!

Ready......

She asked me if I would be in the delivery room with her..... She really wants me to experience all of that with her and to get to see and hold the baby right away! I cried... we were eating dinner and I just started crying.... I'm thrilled!!!! I couldn't ask for a more precious gift!

That's all.... hopefully come Friday her BP is back to normal and we have more good news from the DR! Thank you all for you thoughts and prayers!
