So I've heard (in terms of pain) this is very comprable to an HSG. What do you all think??? I won't be having any meds for pain (except ibuprofen 1 hour before).

For all IVFers at my clinic, this is a mandatory test before you can start. My HSG was normal so crossing my fingers we don't find anything strange tomorrow

I didn't have an HSG but I can tell you that my hysteroscopy wasn't painful at all just a little crampy during the exam. Per my RE, I took 600 mg of Motrin about an 1 hour before the exam and I was fine. Good luck!

I agree, much less painful. I did this before my IUI and all was good.

if your HSG was fine i'm sure you'll be fine with the hysteroscopy as well (they say if all is well it's relatively painless). unfortunately that wasn't the case for me and it hurt like crazy! i then had to have an operative hysteroscopy and i have another post-operative hysteroscopy oct. 13th. GL!

Hi! It was much much less painfull! It was over before I knew anything at all! Good Luck...it should be a breeze! Are you going under for yours? They did put me under so that might be key in the pain level? I dont know if thats a standard or not?
