Hi girls! Thanks in advance for letting me drop in with a question.

Do you know of anyone who has gotten pregnant with IUI without using meds?

I'm just trying to decide if I should try 1 round with no meds because as far I know, I ovulate fine and have a normal cycle of 30 days. I have 5 vials of frozen sperm but I don't want to waste anything. Kwim?

I would give it a go without first. When I did my IUI's I did my first with no meds. And the 2nd time I just did a low dose of clomid (50mg). I got pg the 2nd time

ME! I miscarried but I did get pregnant on the first try w/o drugs. Drugs weren't even an option for me as far as my dr was concerned.

Heather do you think the m/c had something to do with you not taking meds?

I would try it, if your cycles are okay.
Me personally, I would go with the meds, because I wouldn't want to wait any longer, but if you want to try it naturally first, I say go for it!
Good luck, hun!

no absolutely not!

it was because of my eating disorder. I'm a moron who thought it'd be okay to ttc while anorexic. At the time I was eating a piece of peanut butter toast a day and that's it.

I had no trouble carrying a pregnancy when I was actually eating while ttc and while pregnant.

Some women do get pregnant that way .. Lots of times it is those who have CM issues or moderately low sperm count issues.. I have CM issues but then I also have ovulation issues so I need meds as I don't want to chance wasting a cycle or the money on it . An IUI where we are stationed runs about 800 with Meds.. Good luck !!!!

I think my plan will be to start using opks for a few months to chart my O'd date more carefully and then get my progesterone levels checked monthly on CD19-21. I have a history of very low progesterone. I took clomid for 5 months and my progesterone never got above 0.8 and with my DD my level was 8 at 5 weeks.

Thanks to you ladies who responded.
