Hi Girls,

Just popping in to post this article that I thought some of you may find interesting. As a former member of TTCMA and IVFer I am very happy to see this man win such a prize as he changed the world of those of us who deal or have dealt with infertility.

I can't believe that around 4 million people have been born through the means of IVF! Amazing.

Thanks for sharing this. I heard this on the radio first thing this morning and was very excited about it. It's so great that he is being honored for his very, very valuable contribution that has changed so many lives. I also hope that this recognition may bring a bit more attention to just how common infertility issues are.

Started TTC #1 July 2009
Three IUIs - BFNs
IVF - Cycle Cancelled
Three Rounds of Mini-IVF = 5 frozen embryos
July 2011 - Single Frozen Embryo Transfer. BFP and then miscarriage
November 2011 - Single Frozen Embryo Transfer. BFP!! Aven Born on August 4, 2012

July 2014 - Got Pregnant Naturally with Twins! Miscarriage at 9 weeks.
November 2014 - Single Frozen Embryo Transfer. BFP!

Our TTC journey: 6 cycles Clomid, lap surgery/ D&C, IUI, 2 x IVF; 41 cycles- BFN.
IVF#1 (March 2010) Transferred two 8-cell grade A (perfect) embies- BFN and heartbroken.

IVF#2/FET#1 (Jan/Feb 2011):Transferred two (7&8 cell) grade A (PERFECT) embies- BFN again.
IVF#3/FET#2 (November 2014) Transferred two perfect blasts- First BFP Ever.

BABY BOY- 7/13/15 @ 34 weeks 6 days

I saw this, this morning and am very thankful that long before I needed IVF, this man came up with the idea of it
