10.07.10 UPDATE-
Well after having NO BLEEDING or spotting yesterday, I woke up this AM and I'm back to spotting brown I'm trying to tell myself that at this point there's nothing more I can do then just pray. I'm either bleeding because my baby is growing nice and big, or because my baby isn't going to make it. Those are my options at this point and I'd rather just not think about it. Monday still seems so far away, but I have no choice but to be patient and wait it out. Thank you for the prayers girls

So I had to leave work today at around 11:00 because I went to the restroom and saw blood DRIPPING into the toilet

My OB was able to get me in for an u/s at 1:45. Since I'm only 5.2 weeks we could only see a gestational sac and a yolk sac. He said everything looks "normal" but there are no guarantees that I won't miscarry

I'm bleeding quite a bit and it's bright red At this point I'm just so frustrated and discouraged I really want to deliver a healthy baby

So all I can do is wait for my u/s on Monday. There should be a heartbeat by then. We'll see what happens.....

Brandi, I am so sorry! This is so maddening! Hang in there baby!!! You need to stay put for another 8 months!!!!
I hope you are able to just relax and keep your feet up for awhile. I am praying for a heartbeat monday, and for this bleeding to go away so we can just get you stitched up and watch your baby bake!!!!!

Thank you Nicole

**They didn't measure the sac, but it was an appropriate size. It looked just like my other pregnancies. He said that it wasn't collapsed or anything like that, but that doesn't mean that I won't still miscarry.....

Ugh! I hate the waiting game

Hope everything is okay and come Monday you get wonderful news! Just try to take comfort that everything looked normal on the u/s. Did you have bleeding with your other pregnancies too? Maybe it is a SCH or whatever it's called (blood pooling).

Brandi, I know for a fact that people can bleed very heavily and even have what looks like "tissue" come out ,and still retain a healthy pregnancy. I had a patient earlier this week who had had this same scenario. And I see many patients have a lot of early 1st Trimester bleeding, w/o a bad result. I hope this is temporary and just your little embie really snuggling in for the long haul.

Are you cramping at all Brandi? Or is it just the bleeding right now?
