I was on here about a year ago, just very briefly (I used to post more on ttc w/ pcos), but I wanted to introduce myself again since it's been awhile . I'm Sophie (26) and I'm hoping for a bfp in 2011!! I took 3 rounds of clomid before conceiving my little one, but I didn't ovulate...and then I got pregnant randomly 1.5 months after taking my last pill...

So my question is, I'm wondering if anyone has experienced something similar to that while on clomid? I've heard it can cause late ovulation, but can it delay it by over a month??

I'm about to start the whole process all over again, but right now I'm nursing so I have a feeling I won't be able to take anything until after my daughter (Mirabel) is weaned. I just don't know if I should bother with clomid again? They didn't give me a trigger shot. The doc thought I would over-produce and end up with multiples. The last time I saw the RE, before getting a bfp last year, she wanted me to do ovarian drilling...but I really want to avoid that if I can.

Any tips welcome !!

Hey, I remember you from both PCOS and the MA board. Congrats on your little one, she is a doll!

I don't think that clomid will delay ovulation by a month. But with PCOS your likely to be randomly ovulatory. That is more likely the case, as it was probably with me and this surprise pregnancy.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do... and welcome back!!!
