IUI #1 failed. AF just showed.

DH wants to try unmedicated this cycle so that we can financially catch up. I really don't want to wait, but I understand his point. I hate this.

This means that we won't stand a chance at having a baby by our second wedding anniversary. It also means we won't even be pregnant of the fourth anniversary of starting this journey. FOUR freaking years. My niece (who was an accident and born after my THIRD miscarriage) will be TWO before we have one.

I'm so sorry hunnie! My first IUI was a bust and I remember vividly just how discouraged I was. We then moved on to IVF, which was a bust as well, but wouldn't you know that our NEXT IUI resulted in our with Tres?? There is still hope hun! I'm sorry your journey has been so long.....DH and I reached the *4 year TTC* mark just one week before Evan's due date

I know the waiting just makes the pain so much more difficult to bear. But I can hope you can find comfort in knowing that it WILL HAPPEN for you too!

Thanks ladies. I think that it just gets harder the more aggressive we are. Each time we go to a more aggressive treatment, I soften the blow with, "Well, this has to be the key..." and then it doesn't work. Now, with DH wanting yet another MA break so soon...

Awww...hun... I'm so sorry! I SOOOO wanted this to happen for you. Brandi is right, IT WILL HAPPEN, usually when you least expect it.

You are right too though, with each step we took in MA, I always thought the disappointment was THAT much greater.

Take some time to cry, vent, be angry, mad, throw a tantrum if you need to. But then pick yourself up and brush yourself off. You need to keep moving forward because you never know which "next step" will be THE STEP!

HUGS augie. I've been reading this board for quite some time, might I suggest that you Try Brandi's lil tricks for a bit and see if maybe you see some results? I printed it off for a coworker a while back and she's 3 months pregnant after not having ovulated on her own in over a year!

yes ... let it out Augie !

It's ok to be upset and frustraited.
I know I will feel the same if AF shows this month.

Hang in there.
I still am a firm believer in the the fact that the big man upstairs knows what he is doing and will grant us all our babies, 1st , 2nd, whatever ... when he believes that we are ready to handle it. Look at Brandi and Kari !
