well, i guess 21 isn't a lucky cycle for me...

my back started bothering me two days ago and yesterday it went out. i HAD to go to work yesterday so i hobbled there looking like an 80yo. i called my ortho doctor and he told me to take a round of injections for 3 days and complete bed rest for 10 days. um yeah. right at the holidays. perfect. i am holding off on the injections (they are not TTC friendly ) as i've made an appt with an osteopath for later today. i am hoping, hoping, hoping that he will be able to "fix" me and we won't have to go the injection/bed rest route. fingers crossed.

oh... and DH has been a saint through all of this he has been waiting on me hand and foot and SO patient with me (helping me get in/out of bed, taking care of the dogs, etc.).

thanks girls!

so... unfortunately no good news from the osteopath. he thinks that i might have a herniated disc (i'm crossing my fingers that i don't) so i need to have an MRI (hopefully within the next 7-10 days). tomorrow i start my round of injections (to help with pain/inflammation). obviously until we get all this figured out TTC will have to go on hold. *sigh* and we were so close to starting our first IUI with injectables in january...

Im sorry you are in so much pain.... I had a similar episode about a year ago, just reached for my bed sheets funny while making the bad and bam, ended up on the floor. It was the most horrendous pain I've ever been in. After bedrest & pain meds it eventually healed itself. I hope the MRI is ok & you dont have anything serious to worry about getting fixed. Hugs to your thoughtful & sweet DH> Feel better soon !!!
