I called the nurse at the RE's office today because I was wondering how long it takes to get the surge after I finish the clomid. I'm on CD 14 and don't feel any real signs of ovulation yet. She said if I was concerned I could come in for daily testing to see when I will surge. DO you think its worth it to go every morning? I'm thinking I will wait to Friday and If I haven't got a positve I will go in for blood work. Is this normal for an RE to do?

Yes it is... The month we did our IUI cycle I was in there almost every day from cd10 until after the IUI. I felt like a lab rat!

Were not doing IUI just timing intercourse! I don't mind going and getting the blood work done if its neccesary. Just have to decide if its worth it to go or if I should just keep testing. Thanks for your help!

I never went in for daily bloodwork while on Clomid or Femara. I had one 7DPO progesterone (just to make sure I was ovulating). Otherwise with my Clearblue Easy Digi opk's I saw a surge every month. Usually it was about 5-9 days AFTER my last pill that I surged

Thanks Jen! My office hasn't said anything about testing on 7 DPO. I'm assuming its not part of the clomid challenge test! Thanks!

My OB would test once at 7dpo. My RE doesn't do bloodwork with Clomid at all. He just does an u/s.

You are doing the clomid challenge? Did they draw your blood on CD3 and CD10?
