So my DH's birthday is Thursday...I really hate that his Birthday is so close to Christmas, because I feel like he gets shafted on presents....OK, not really because he usually gets bigger, more expensive *xmas/birthday* gifts but that usually means he doesn't actually have a present to "open" on his bday, which always bums me out.
So he has asked that I pay for his memorial tattoo for Evan and I agreed that it could be his xmas/birthday gift since it will be a lot of $$$. Well, he couldn't get an appointment with his artist until mid January, so I was a bit bummed. So I bought him a small gift for xmas so he'd have something to open, and I wanted him to have something to open on his birthday as well.
So one of my JM buddies Natasha made this for me and I bought a frame for it today and am going to wrap it up for DH's birthday
I have to admit that I was worried about DH's ability to bond with a little girl after having his heart set on having a boy all these years, but let me just say that he is amazing! He is all about my belly and kisses it and rubs it all the time!
Very cute!! I know what you mean about your DH having a birthday so close to Christmas. Its like they only really get one day to celebrate when everyone else gets two. Our little man isnt due until the first week of Feb. and I worry that it will even happen with him. It happens to my dad all the time and his bday is Jan. 6.
I can't wait either!! It's going to be awesome! DH wears a necklace with his wedding band, a band that looks like my wedding band, and a little ring they gave Evan at the hossy.....he is getting that image of the necklace and the three rings tattooed on his arm along with "Evan Navarro"....he wanted to get his footprints too, but he's not sure that he'll have any room left
I love it! It is gorgeous!!! My bday is Jan. 12th.. so I know how he feels. It's nowhere near as close as his.. but it's still close enough to xmas to where people are still broke as crap lol. Now that i'm older I don't care, but when I was younger it was a bigger deal to me I can't wait to see pictures of his memorial tattoo

After years of trying, 2 years of fertility meds, multiple surgeries, blood draws and needle sticks, some awful pre-IVF complications, and endometriosis and PCOS,
We are done TTC. Praying for peace as we accept this...
Hoping for some comfort after our most recent (and 3rd) surgery and starting Lupron!
