What was your first job? I worked at McDonalds too, as soon as I could get working papers.
What was your favorite? working at the Rutgers R&D facility...it was a big farm, and we were outside most of the day, you got an hour for lunch and 2 half hour breaks, you didn't go to work if it was raining, and you got all the fresh veggies you wanted. Basically NO stress.
Least Favorite? I worked as a waitress for one day. I just could not hang, so I never went back.
What do you do now? I perform all different types of medical ultrasounds. I do like my career now, but it certainly has some stress.

My first job was papa johns. My worst job outside of my degree area was a tie between pizza hut and lifeguarding. Just because the management stunk at both. In my field I'm super picky so yea....I've seen it all!
My favorite is my job now. I work with kids at a preschool. Stressful but so rewarding

What was your first job? My "first job" was babysitting, and I started that when I was about 12-13 years old....save ALL of my baby sitting money until I was 20 years old and had saved $20K for a down payment on a house (and yes, at 13 years old that WAS my PLAN!)

What was your favorite? Least Favorite? My favorite job was working at a tanning salon It was mindless work, super simple, and I got to tan for free My least favorite job is what I do now

What do you do now? Teach 1st grade....

What was your first job? My first job was working at my dad's display company. It was nice because my dad would take me out for chinese food at lunch break, LOL.
What was your favorite? Least Favorite? My favorite job was working at G-tech repairing lottery machines ( I went to school for electronic repair). My least favorite job was NE pager repair, fixing pagers and cell phones, I was the only girl there, and they guys would make a lot of sexist jokes, and I was young at the time it really bugged me.
What do you do now? I am a stay at home mom.

What was your first job? Other than babysitting at 12, I worked at a Lifeguard/Water Safety Instructor at a day camp in the summer from ages 14-17. My first real daily job I was 17 -- I was working at a pet store as a small animal specialist - was there till I was 20.
What was your favorite? Working in the ICU of a major animal emergency specialty hospital for 18 months. Most rewarding, but sad job. There are several pets I will never forget. There were several times for several pets that I had to go in on my days off to assist with bandage changes because the dogs would only let me touch them. I built up such a trust with these pets -- SO rewarding when your 20-21 and there are 50 year old adults who have been in the field for 20-30 years and they can't do what your doing or else they will get mauled.
Least Favorite? There was one veterinarian i worked for for 6 weeks -- the place was horrible. I would never take my pets there.
What do you do now? I am a paralegal in Matrimonial/Family law.

What was your first job? Burger King
What was your favorite? Clerical Assistant at the Small Business Development Center Least Favorite? Counter Person and All Breed Grooming and Boarding--the job itself wasn't bad; the boss was horrible (When I got hurt by a 110lb dog jumping--and landing--on my back she told me "I believe he did that, but I don't believe he hurt you." Umm, how the heck would 110lbs crashing down on anyones back NOT hurt them!?)
What do you do now? I'm a substitute teacher.

What was your first job? My *very* first job was babysitting. My first job out of college was a news reporter and weekend anchor. That was super fun and exciting, but I literally worked 70 - 80 hours a week and the pay was dreadful.

What was your favorite? My favorite job was doing PR for the American Cancer Society. Least Favorite? My least favorite job was pharmaceutical sales. I always felt so demeaned by the office staff. The Drs. were actually pretty cool, but it was the front desk receptionist who made you feel like dirt.

What do you do now? Technically, today I am unemployed. I went to work in outside sales for a company that covered all infertility. They covered $46,000 in treatment/meds over the past two months. I was pretty happy and enjoyed my job more than I imagined. In November, we learned our company had been bought and I wasn't sure if the new insurance would cover infertility, so after my first failed IVF I began looking at other companies from the Conceive Magazine top 50 list. I had interviewed with another company (that covers infertility) back in the summer, so I contacted the manager and asked if she would reconsider me. She said yes, I was offered the position and I start Tuesday. I'll be a district sales manager for a cosmetics company. I'm pretty excited about the opportunity because I LOVE makeup, but I'm super scared about how I'll feel over the next couple of months. I haven't had many pregancy symptoms yet, so hopefully that will continue. I'm also feeling a bit guilty because I'm starting a job pregnant.

What was your first job? My first job was at 16. I was a cashier at Wegmans' Supermarkets

What was your favorite? Least Favorite? Hmmm....probably working at a sub shop during college was my least favorite job. I refused to eat subs for years after. My favorite is the job I am in now.

What was your first job? my first real job (not counting babysitting) was at a restaurant as a bus girl. i was 15 1/2

What was your favorite? you know, i don't really know. i probably should say the one i have now because of all of the perks but to be honest i don't feel it's my calling. i want a job where i will make a difference in the world. i don't think renting vacation properties really fits that requirement.

Least Favorite? hmmmm working as an asst. manager at a well-known makeup boutique... not for the job itself but for my boss who was a bit crazy...

What do you do now? i am one of three partners in a vacation rental agency.

What was your first job? Besides babysitting, my first "real paycheck" job was as a lifeguard.
What was your favorite? Probably lifeguarding. I had a great boss, and it was very easy work (though for some it was TOO easy - you have to actually scan the water folks!).
Least Favorite? Working for a huge health insurance company. It paid well, I had a nice office - but I really felt like I was working for the devil. Such awful greedy policies there, I couldn't live with myself doing that work.
What do you do now? Now that DH is board-certified, I'm a SAHM (which is really the best job in the world!).
