The crappy weather wasn't enough to keep me away from going to the RE today !!! I called him this morning @ 630am to make sure their office was still going to be open~ yes, he said just come at 830am instead of 8am. He said it was ok for DH to do his thing at 730am & just keep it body temp til I got there. The roads were ok, mostly icy on the bridges but I just took my time. When I got there, I handed him the cup and waited about 45min before they called me back to the room. Initially the nurse was going to be the "inserter" but again I warned her that the doc had trouble both times when I had another cath inserted for the sonohyst. so she could try, but....just like I thought, she ended up getting the RE to do it instead. That was no problem at all, didnt hurt, cramp, nothing.
I then asked him if he was able to see if my 1 "big blob" was still visible (on Friday, it looked like I had a 20 something-thing on my Right Side, dinky ones on the Left). Yes, the blob was still there. I hope to high heaven it was planning on releasing the egg here soon, and not a cyst !!!!!!!! Though, that blob wasnt there on my very early u/s prior to starting the Femara. I took the trigger on Saturday at 1030pm so shouldn't it normally work about 36 hrs after that?
After I laid on the table for about 20min, they told me I could go. We already talked about what the plan would be next cycle, should I need to try again. I'll skip the Femara & just use injects it sounds like. I am praying soooo incredibly hard that this takes. However, I was also very disappointed when they told me that the SA contained just 22 mil sperm prewash, and after wash 11mil or so Motility was 46%. I know this isnt great.... but I did not say a thing to DH about that result. I know it was a big enough step just for him agree to do this IUI so I will just keep that info to myself. Now just wait 2 wks and see what happens ..................
I've been thinking about you all morning and hoping the weather didn't ruin your IUI. Praise God everything worked out great!!! Congratulations on your 2WW and I simply can't WAIT to celebrate a BFP real soon!
Lots of love and hugs and prayers!!!

A: Screw in a lightbulb?! Hmmm... do you think that might help?"
WOOHOO! Glad you got to go and hope those swimmers are where they need to be now!
I hope to be seeing pics of that BFP in 2 weeks!
After years of trying, 2 years of fertility meds, multiple surgeries, blood draws and needle sticks, some awful pre-IVF complications, and endometriosis and PCOS,
We are done TTC. Praying for peace as we accept this...
Hoping for some comfort after our most recent (and 3rd) surgery and starting Lupron!
