Well...this is the first cycle that I've tried adding the lemon water/geritol. It's also a clomid cycle for me, and I'm on metformin. I also added 1 cup of mint tea and 1 cup of fertilitea daily. My previous few cycles have been around 30 days with my O at about CD 17-19. This cycle I got my positive opk yesterday on CD 16 which feels strange just because it's a little earlier than I had expected. Do you think that the lemon water could have had this kind of an effect? And is it necesary to continue with the lemon water after O? Any thoughts?

I'm so hopeful for this cycle...it would be so cool if these little changes actually finally make the difference..

Thanks for reading! And thank you again Brandi for all your research!

I would think the earlier ovulation day would be due to the clomid, I normally O like clock work on CD 14 or 15 and I took clomid for the first time last cycle and Oed early on CD 13 and got my first positive OPK on CD 11, never happens that early for me. I just added the lemon water/geritol this cycle but haven't Oed yet, but I am pretty certain the earlier OPK and ovulation was due to the clomid, I hope these changes bring you your BFP!

It delayed mine as well, with the exception of maybe once but it was my first 150mg cycle and I responded better than they expected. After that it was just so so. Good luck!!

Clomid moved my O date up by almost a week, and I haven't noticed a change with lemon water.

Did you all take clomid to ovulate or to just increase your chances at conception? If you already O regularly, I was told and read that your O day usually comes early....most that I read online came around CD 12 which is what I got...but find it interesting that several of you mentioned it being delayed.

This is my 4th clomid cycle and I've also taken soy other cycles to try to ovulate. On my own nothing happened and the metformin alone isn't the cure all for me. O day has always been a little later than CD 16, so I can only assume that the lemon/geritol/fertilitea is what's caused it to come a little earlier this month...??...?

Brandi - what do you think about the lemon water and the teas after O..should I continue with it for the 2WW???

Lemon water is just an anti oxidant, so there is no harm in drinking it throughout the 2WW....I would limit the tea only because of caffeine, but other than that, it's no biggie
