Sorry for the TMI post but I just finished a round of antibiotics last week for a sinus infection and now I have a yeast infection. I'm on CD 11 today and I'm going to start the 3 day monistat tonight. Does anyone know if this will affect my cycle or my chances of TTC this month? I finished the clomid on CD 9 and I'm praying I didn't take it for no reason this month! I'm hoping the sperm is not affected by the meds.

I would call your RE, just in case. But I got a yeast infection during my last IVF cycle and I was instructed to use Monistat. Good luck!

I used Monistat during 1 of my IUI cycles back in 2009. My RE said it was safe.

Brynn, I'm not doing IUI just clomid and timed bding. Do you think the monistat could affect the sperm at all? I'm hoping that I'm in the clear before I O. The nurse at the RE said its more important to make sure the Yeast infection is cleared up.

After trying for 2 years, I actually got pregnant while using monistat. Can't be all that harmful.

Wow now I'm wishing I used it! My Dr called me in Diflucan. Hopefully it works soon!
