Hi Stacey, I was diagnosed in May of 2009 this an underactive thyroid. I don't remember how low my levels were at the time but I have been on Levothyroxine 50mmg since. My doc always tells me my numbers are normal and they are usually between 4.0 and 5.0. Your numbers do seem low. I know when I 1st started meds my RE said they would take up to 3 months to get my levels where they should be and I have been fine ever since.
I would talk to your RE and you should not be TTC until your number are where they should be. At least that is what my RE recommended with us.

I was diagnosed last February when starting IVF. Mine was underactive and my RE had my on Levothyroxin as well. I m/c my first IVF w/ISCI but the 2nd IVF w/ISCI worked. My thyroid levels were everywhere and the max dose I was one was 112. IMO your numbers seem really low to be on such a high dosage. I have just recently been put on 25mcg of levothyroxin and my levels are close normal now. Originally the doctor that had me on the 112mcg should have decreased it with my numbers which were .08. You may want to ask why the high dosage with your numbers. HTH.
