Well it looks like I'm going to hyper-stimmulate AGAIN WTH??? He is 98% sure.

My RE said my body does not respond properly to the injections. He has come to this conclusion but the amount of follicles I have......20-25 on the right and 15 on the left. The good news is that he thinks my eggs are of very good quality which could/should result in a very good embryo if we get the right spermie.

He cut my dosage of Gonal-F down from 187.5 to 112.5(this is if my lab work comes back and shows that I need to)

He is still thinking the ER would be Wednesday or Thursday of next week. We would freeze them(if I'm at the hyper-stimmulate stage), clean up the Endo and then do an FET when ever possible.

ANOTHER ROAD BLOCK to add to the 100+ we have had so far.

BUMMED:smh"

hey Brynn - there is a newer test out that measures your ovarian reserve; insurances dont cover, but i think it is worth the $ - it was 95.00 by me; it is called MIS and it gives you a score of your egg quality; in other words, normal is .4 and i am .43, so, i am just above normal

bascially, this give information as to how aggressive the doc thinks you should be; if my #s were higher, he might have me try on my own for another 6 months or so, or, not use Femara, etc; but being that i am on the low side, we are really starting to jump start things

at the very least, you should google the test and see what your doc thinks

i know this is not really what you rpost was about, but since we were talking eggs, i thought this might help you or someone else

Thank you for the information. I'm always open minded to any and all advice I will look into it and ask him but off hand do you know if I can have it done next week or do I have be be at a different point in my cycle and not on injections?

the ovarian reserve test can be done at any time of the cycle; however it takes 2 weeks for the results, and i forget why; think something has to grow or something; i am not sure aobut meds, as when i had it done, i wasnt on anything
