Yesterday at 11dp trigger my positives got very light to hardly there and today at 12dp trigger when I tested the line is much darker, actually darker then the ones that I took at 9 and 10 dp trigger. I am now 10 dpiui. I lost hope yesterday and threw all the test I have taken this cycle away because they were consuming too much of my time just staring and comparing. I had one last test and I said I would wait until smu today and thats what I did and I got a very pretty positive. NOW, is it possible this is still the trigger?

Well, I am going for blood work today. I am being sneaky..lol. My doc called in an order last month that I never had done because AF came so I am using an old order, hopefully the doc office doesn't think I am completely insane but I am hoping they will schedule another one in two days so we can compare.....

11dpt sounds like a long time for the HCG to still be in your system. This sounds like it could be the real deal.

It could still go either way, not trying to make you lose hope...but just dont want you to go through what I went through! One month my trigger was gone by 9DPT and then the next time it was still around at 12DPT! GOOD LUCK!

Thanks everyone. I am leaving in about 20 minutes to go get my bloodwork. The lab that I go to lets me pick up my results and it usually takes about two hours so I will let you all know the results. I also want to add that my trigger shot is only 5,000 not the 10,000 shot.

Well I had my bloodwork done and my level was a 1. I am assuming this is not good. My doc hasn't called me back yet but Im pretty sure that 1 is negative. However, about an hour after my blood work I did take a frer and it was positive. But how can I be getting positive tests with a 1! Thoughts please!!!

I'm not sure because I don't trigger or anything like that ATM. But + with a frer....well that's a great sign IMO. Was it a clear line and done within the time limit? ?

Yes it was clear and if it wasn't for the blood results I would have trusted it but is a 1 ok?

A 1 is definitely negative, anything below 5 is normally considered negative. But if you tested and it was positive then there must be some sort of lab error. Are you sure they said 1?

I agree with Ashley, it might be a lab error if your getting a clear positive on FRER. I would tell your RE and tell him/her that you want a retest.

I have a printout that says 1 on it. Usually it says >.5. I'm pretty sure it is acurate. I think it was negative. AF will probably be here the end of the week.

What the heck?? That is so confusing?? I don't understand why you are getting positive frers???? I hope it was just a lab error and those are REAL BFP's!!!

I don't think it was a lab error. It is strange though. The frer that I took is a 6 days sooner one and it says right on the box that it possible to get a false positive because it detects such low levels. I don't know. I am going to wait it out and pretty sure AF will come and then dh and I are taking some time off from ttc. Thanks ladies!

That is really strange. I would maybe wait a few days and test again and see what happens. Honestly I would think it was a lab error. Good luck to you!

Even frer can't detect a 1...it detects usually 25 or higher...so I am really hoping its a lab error because thats very rare to get a positive frer....try that same test or an answer brand in 1-2 days and if its still positive I'd definitely ask for another beta

Hmmm...FRER's should not be able to test positive for a one.

Infact, I had negative FRER result when my blood work HcG level was a 4.5. So it really shouldn't test a one.

I hope it was a lab error!

My sister had an IUI last month and she tested daily and her pregnancy tests got light to almost nothing at 9 days past IUI and than they started to get darker again and she turned out to in fact be pregnant. So Id say its a good sign for you!
