I was wondering if anyone had any interest in creating a sub-forum for our members who already have 1+ child/ren, but are trying for more? I know that there is the Secondary Infertility Forum, but it's so dead there...

I don't want to exclude anyone, but I know that some people mentioned on the post that Melissa started, that they sometimes felt as though they couldn't be as open about their experiences the second time around (due to trying to be sensitive to people ttc their first).

For example, I wanted to post about how I am kind of sad that so many women in my DDC are getting pregnant again, that I kind of feel like avoiding them. I'm wondering if such a topic would be more sensitively placed in such a forum. That way, we don't need to be worried about how such posts would come across.

Just an idea. I'm not sure whether it's a good idea, or whether it would get any use???

I think thats a good idea, I sometimes don't comment the way I would with people that already have a child because it makes me feel a little selfish to the ones that are trying so hard just to get # 1.

I am completely in love with this idea. I remember when I was TTC#1, sometimes it was really hard to hear those women who already had kids talk about their disappointment when they got a BFN. I'd think to myself "so what? at least you have a baby already." Now that I'm the one with a baby in the siggy, I'm terrified of making someone else feel badly. And hearing someone else say that they avoid their PR because all the sudden BFPs are popping up like daisies makes me feel so normal...thank you!

I'd say sit tight for about a week...by then we should have 2 hosts back on the board, and we can clean up the sub-forums and stickies and re-vamp the board to liven the place up.

If there are other ideas about stickies or sub-forums, we should speak up!

I'm so for this Amanda and I know what you mean. I feel especially bad because I do have two amazing kiddos and I debated about whether to come back here now that we are ttc, so I would want a sub forum like that.

I personally don't feel like the heartache is any different having one kid vs. none. Either way it's a longing for something you don't have and are struggling to get! I feel bad when I post sometimes, but I know I shouldn't...we have all been there before.

Alex and Kris - We might as well just start our own Feb PR TTC multiple children forum...hehe. J/K I would be up for this. I'm just getting started with our first medicated cycle and could use some other people that are in my same boat. And I know what you mean about seeing people in our PR getting pg and it hard to see. I usually don't have an issue with others getting pregnant, like when I was TTC #1, but for some reason, that still bothered me. I'm still happy for them, nonetheless, but jealous.

I think its a great idea....BUT I know that when WTTC got a WTTC grads subforum, everyone left WTTC almost completely. I would be really afraid you girls would post in there, and in there only.

I honestly know that were all going through the same thing and having another child already doesnt make that feeling any easier. Personally...

I have to say that it is very encouraging for me to see ttc #1 girls sharing their opinions and saying that they don't mind ttc#2 + girls posting.

I used to post allll the time when ttc #1 and even co-hosted here, but then felt weary of stepping on toes when I came back- afraid of posting too much. It definitely is an ache the same as when ttc#1. The same fears creep back in, the same longings and aches that tie us ALL together.

I for one will continue posting on the main board- and would post in addition to the subforum- should it go up.
