I always here that implantation takes place 6 to 10 days after conception or ovulation, does this hold true if your luteal phase is 16 days? Or would it be 8 to 12 days in that case?

I would think it would be the same, because it doesn't adjust the other way for girls with shorter LPs.

Ok, thanks. I know its a silly question. I am just trying to convince myself in any way that there is still a chance for me this month.

Not a silly question at all! 12DPO is still early, and I am keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Those numbers all honestly are just a guess, in my honest opinion. I've seen someone here on JM test everyday and did not get a BFP until 21DPO (Yes 21!) there is no way in heck she had implanted back around 6-10DPO, it definitely would have shown up before 21DPO! And thats not the only time i've seen that, ive seen BFPs at 18DPO as well. Everyone is different, and every pregnancy is different!

GOOD LUCK!

So, true! My beta at 14DPO was only 11.8, 16DPO was 12.4, and didn't get to 95 until 20DPO. My little Pokey took a LONG time to settle in and start making those sticks nice and dark!

My Ob thinks I'm just a late implanter as pp mentioned. I'm usually 3 weeks post o before I get a bfp. Then again until now we've never been ttc and a poas addict.

Very true! Thanks Ladies. I had a m/c about 4 years ago and early on in my pregnancy when everything was fine and my numbers were still going up, my doc said that my levels were lower then normal and he told me that some women just produce lower levels of hcg then others and he said that may have been my case.
