So I just got my Maca pills in today in hopes that it will help me. I remember back when I was here in 09, a lot of ladies loved it (and I read the Maca Diaries). My question is for those that took it - how much did you take? I have the 500mg one but I know some upped it to 1000mg. I am just curious because I would love this to help me out. I am annovulatory, irregular periods...all that fun stuff lol .Anyways enough rambling, TIA!
That link above is kind of a history of the root and how it helps fertility. It's recommended that you take 2000 - 3000 mg per day (for both male and female), but only for a certain time. They suggest you take it for something like 3 months and then take a break. That part I don't understand because it's supposed to simply be a vegetable root. The history stories say that the native of the Andes mountains have long since used powder from the root in their baking (it tastes similar to butterscotch) and they give it to their kids, animals, etc. too, so I've never really understood the recommendation to take a break after a certain amount of time. I do take the break though, just to be safe.

Christin, Brandi, and some others have done Soy Isoflavones...I'm not sure of the dosage or anything. It comes in a pill form and you can order it online from GNC or another health food place like that. It is supposed to work in a similar fashion to Clomid.
