One of the nurses at my clinic informed me in advance for my next cycle that they will be switching to a different type of progesterone for the 2ww after a successful IUI. Currently I was using the micronized progesterone suppositories. These seem a LOT better. It is one application of the gel, and it is inserted sort of like a tampon. Here is a website I found about the product, just wondering if anyone else is doing this yet either??

This is what I've been using. I haven't used anything else. But I can't complain about it too much. It's not that messy but the "globules" the insert talks about are gross and slightly irritating.

I used it for two cycles and never had any issues. I thought it was pretty easy to use.

I used it after my IVF and it was easy and convenient. But after a few weeks, it starts to collect in your hoo ha and can be very gross. That's my only complaint. Good luck!!

I used it after my IVF cycle and I had no problems with it. It's easy to use. But, I did have to wear a liner because of some leakage.

Good luck!! - i agree w lindsey; i ran to the doc, as i was in the shower and this glob literally fell out of me and i thought i was having a miscarriage; turned out it was the progesterone that had built up inside of me
