I will post what I remember of my FET. Remember that all doc's are different and so is their protocol. I did 2 FET's. The 1st was unsuccessful but my 2nd was successful! They put me on BCP the month before to regulate my cycle. FET's were more nerve racking to me bc it's noting but waiting. With my fresh cycle, I had shots to give my self and u/s's to check follies so I was focused on something everyday. With the FET, you have a baseline u/s on CD3 and that was it. I think I may have been on lupron to surpress ovulation and a few days before the transfer I started progesterone. I did the progesterone in oil shots with my 1st FET and then I did the suppositories the 2nd time. Suppositories were much nicer. A pain bc of leakage but the POI shorts are horribly painful!!! Then a few days (maybe a week) after I started the progesterone I went in for the transfer. They recommend bedrest the 1st day then you can return to normal activities. I did that with my fresh cycle and 1st FET. With my 2nd/last FET I rested for a week after and also did accupunture during the cycle. You will continue to do the progesterone i=until your preg test and if its positive then you will continue through weeks 13 or 14. Preg test is 2 weeks after transfer.
As to when to call the RE, It depends because some only do cycles every other month or every few months. Mine did every month but they coordinate your cycle to go around their schedule as best as they can. Good luck to you all and I will be checking for updates!! If you have any other questions that I didn't answer or that were unclear, let me know and I will try to better explain it.
