So at my baseline u/s I had one "floppy" looking cyst on my left ovary which my RE wasn't worried about, and another cyst on my right ovary. He thought that maybe we could take a couple weeks off with BC then start the injections, however I remembered before I got pg with Ronan I had a cyst that was even bigger, but since my estrogen came back low and normal for cd 3 he said we could go ahead and do the injections... So I asked if we could do the same. He reviewed my chart and agreed. They called later to say my estrogen was low and I could start the injections... well I just gave myself my 4th injection, and I am already getting EWCM and bloat... I am a *little* nervous, but on the other hand it still feels pretty normal...my next appt is first thing monday. Has anyone else had EWCM this early??

Well, appt explained why... at CD 9 my estrogen was at 952! On my R ovary I had a 15, 14.5, 14, 13. And about fourteen 12's. on my L ovary I had a bunch of 12's. They told me it was a perfect cycle for IVF. I was tempted to convert. SO tempted. BUT my RE was out of VACA and I cannot imagine going there without him. I decided to do one more IUI. They tried to get me to do a follicle aspiration again. I said no. It's NOT that I think it's wrong. I've done it, its just afterward I wondered. I wondered if the follicle (s) they reduced could've possibly been the ones that were intended for me to ovulate and conceive with... So I trigger tonight in hope that only the top 3 mature and ovulate. IUI is on Wednesday

HOLY FOLLIES!! So thats 30(!!) Follies that are 12 or larger?? Am I reading that right??

I am very surprised they will let you do an IUI! but I hope that is what it takes to get you a BFP (and hopefully not high order multiples!)

They were mostly concerned about the 15, 14.5, 14 and 13. Every cycle, even with clomid I have TONS of 11's and 12's. It's kind of just a signature of my PCOS, they are always there. They mentioned to me that it would've been GREAT for an IVF cycle, but all those 12's won't release. I will only be releasing 4 follicles- AT MOST.
They are very VERY conservative about iui's and the chance of high order multiples, especially since we are against any fetal reduction.

Since we are doing the trigger tonight, it will mature the follicles that are 14 + and anything that is below a 14 still relies on medication to stimulate growth, so the 12's will all die off...

thanks. I am not holding my breath though. If you remember my first cycle coming back ttc#2 I responded similar with an E2 around 690, and we reduced the folllicles to about 3 dominant ones and.... nada. I am trying to be hopeful and positive, but it gets hard. The one thing i AM glad about is the health and abundance of my eggs- should this not work we will probably take that next step to IVF- or be prepared to convert next cycle... We'll see what God has in store

Thanks for the support everyone!
