Lately it seems like everywhere I turn, I find out someone I know is expecting. I went on Facebook this weekend and a guy that I work with that is 24 and just got married in October announced his wife is pregnant. I'm 32 and have been TTC since October 2009....life isn't fair sometimes!
I'm at a point where I'm not sure what we're going to do next in our TTC journey... We've done 3 cycles of Clomid, 3 injectable cycles and 1 injectable/Clomid cycle. I didn't love my RE, so I recently went to meet with a new RE a couple weeks ago. The dr seemed to know his stuff, but his accent made him really hard to understand and his suggestion was that we go right to IVF and he wanted me to do all this testing that I had already done with my first RE. If it weren't for the cost of IVF, I think I would just go back to my original RE and just do that. It's just not fair that we have to put out so much money to have a baby.... Ugh! I'm just really frustrated.
And to top it all off, we just did an unmedicated cycle and my cycles were all over the place in length before I did Clomid and injectables, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I had some spotting earlier today and it's CD 32 today. We didn't use OPKs this cycle, but BD every other day from CD 8-20, to cover all our bases. Looks like no luck
I just wish I knew what to do next. What doctor to go back to, if we should just go ahead with IVF since nothing else is going to work.... Do you ladies have any words of wisdom for me?
I think you should forsure find/go with the doctor that makes you feel most comfortable. The one that will give you all the options there are and that will take the time to explain everything. One of the things i just cant stand are doctors that arent understanding. Best of luck!!
