Nada. Not at darn thing! And I am bored off my butt already! LOL! The boys went dirt bike riding for the day so it's just me and Lilly. I need to go to the grocery store and am trying to think of something really special and yummy to make for dinner but I'm having a total mental block. I don't even care if it's complicated because at least playing with food would give me something to do. LOL!

We haven't done too much yet. We're headed over to some friends' house for supper, and I'm taking these cookies:

Oh yum! My friend makes chocolate/oatmeal/peanut butter no-bakes that look like those. They are super!

Today...we went to visit my mom in the hospital (she had surgery recently) and then went to a diner for some lunch. Tonight, we are having my dad over for dinner since mom isn't home.

Tomorrow...Dh is taking Alex to a children's museum (he's going with his friend and the friend's kids) an I am having a girl's shopping day and lunch with a friend.

Melissa, I want your recipe!

We went to the town parade today. For such a rinkydink town, the parade was HUGE! An hour long, and it was televised as well.

Tonight is our bimonthly game night with the neighbors.

Tomorrow I'm working on my christmas craft projects.

Chocolate No-Bake Cookies

2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1 stick butter
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups quick-cooking oatmeal
1/2 cup peanut butter

Combine sugar, cocoa, butter and milk in a saucepan. On medium heat, bring to a boil for one full minute.

Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter (optional), vanilla and oatmeal.

Drop by spoonful onto wax paper. Let cool for at least 30 minutes.

I used extra chunky p-nut butter this time because that's all I had, and it was delicious!

I'm definitely writing down that recipe. I usually make my team at work a plate of Christmas cookies with a cute little platter for them to keep. They all love them. I'm going to add those to my treats!

Tomorrow is my best friend's baby shower. I am going early to help set up. We are having it at her house so she doesn't have to lug the items back to her house. I'm really excited for it.

Those cookies sound great.

Hubby and I went to a coffee shop this morning and have been running around the neighborhood playing dokobots with our new iphones. The phone is so frickin fun. The phones are recharging and we'll probably go out again in a little while to collect batteries so we can activate more bots and send them around the world. Dork alert...

I also have a fat stack of books I want to make a dent in.

Yay for another dokobot player! My feet are killing me because we walked all over the place collecting batteries.

Melissa - it's an iphone game where you have to walk around a neighborhood collecting virtual batteries to activate virtual robots. You give the robots names and functions (like, "Chuck" who "searches for burgers." Then drop them off for someone else to pick up. Tourist destinations and airports are good places to find them. Your phone will track where people take them and send you whatever pictures people take of your robot in new places.

There was a bot in the swimming pool, lol! that one was amusing to find. So far I've only found unactivated bots, I've got quite a few already just waiting for me to activate. I need to take a trip into the city to find sosme new bots soon.
