What's on the menu at your house this week? It's the holiday season, are you eating differently than normal, or are you eating the same stuff you always do?

Eh, we're eating the same old stuff for right now. We ate SO much during Thanksgiving that we needed a bit of a break. I have a lot of dessert-y stuff on the grocery list, though, so we'll start eating more holiday stuff again soon.

I think tonight I'm going to make some kind of gumbo...not completely sure yet.

We're doing a lot of lazy food right now since I can't cook, just all our normal stuff really.

We're sticking to the normal fall/winter stuff. I wanted to make chicken and noodles for tonite but totally forgot to throw the chicken in the crock pot this morning. What we eat tonite will depend on how I feel when we get home.

I had a pork loin in the crock pot all day yesterday. I wasn't hungry when I got home from my friend's baby shower, and DH was out with his hunting buddies...so we're having it as leftovers tonight. May be make pork sandwiches.

In the fall and winter, I use my crock pot at least 3 work nights a week. I love it. DH & I had a date food shopping on Saturday night, so we stocked up!!!

Tonight it was carne guisada on whole wheat tortillas. Was sooooo good!

We're having a roasted pork loin sometime this week, turkey burgers, reuben soup and I can't remember what else...
