What sorts of vitamins/supplements/herbs do you take? Were they doctor recommended, or did you use your Google PhD to find out what might work for you? Do you take a prenatal?

Just Prenatal and just started Vitamin D. My RE told me I was Vitamin D deficient so I starting talking D. My prenatal vitamins are also RE Rx'd not OTC.

Me (42) DH(32) - ttc our first together-I have 13yr old DS
Cycles 1-6 = BFN
Cycle 7 SA results abnormal morphologhy, 50 mg clomid = BFN
Cycle 8 sonogramn normal 50 mg clomid + trigger = BFN
Cycle 9 SA results abnormal morphology and motility. Count 200 mill, 100mg clomid + trigger = BFN
Cycle 10 natural = BFN
Cycle 11 hsg tubes clear, natural + trigger+iui = BFN
Cycle 12 repronex + trigger + 2 iui = BFN
Cycle 13 natural ovaries to stimulated for more meds = BFN 
Cycle 14 natural cycle - planning ivf/icsi/donor egg in Oct  =BFN 
Cycle 15 natural cycle - searching for donor = BFN
Cycle 16 natural cycle = I am sure it will be BFN
Cycle 17 natural cycle with Acupuncture =

I take a prescription pre-natal vitamin from the RE.
DH had low sperm count. He takes a regular Men's Multivitamin and then he found on the internet some where that L-Carnycite (something like that) helps. Well, a month after he took it, his count went from 4 million to 12 million and then then next month he was at 52 million. That was his only change. He takes that with his multi-vitamin every night!!!

I just take my prenatal (OB One Complete) that was prescribed by my OB. Before my embryo transfer I was taking chinese herbs from my acupuncturist to help with "tired blood" and migraines.

Cycles 1-12 = BFN
Cycle #13 - 15= IUIs with Clomid & Gonal F - All BFNs
Cycle #16 -21 - Natural Cycles, started acupuncture and chinese herbs - BFN
Cycle #22 - IVF Clinical Trial. My body didn't respond to Menopur. Cycle Cancelled.
Cycle #23 - Minimal Stimulation IVF #1 - 2 eggs retrieved, fertilized and frozen on Day 3.
Cycle #24 - Mini-IVF #2 - 2 eggs retrieved, fertilized and frozen as expanded blasts on Day 5.
Cycle #25 - Mini-IVF #3 - 4 eggs retrieved (two mature and 2 immature), one egg made it to blast and was frozen. Five snowbabies in all!!
Cycle #26 - Hysteroscopy on 6/29. Everything is normal.
7/27 - Transfered one beautiful blast. Postive Beta on 8/3. Empty Sac on 8/22 and 8/29
9/6 D&C - Fetus had a chromosomal abnormality. 
10/11 - Cycle #27 - Transfered one hatching blast on November 2.
Beta #1 12dpo =111 
Beta #2 14dpo =296
Beta #3 21dpo =6,284!!!!
Beta #4 28dpo = 23,505
U/S on 12/2, 12/9, 12/16 and 12/28. Saw heartbeat each time. Baby looks perfect!!

I am currently taking only an OTC multi-vitamin daily and an extra dose of folic acid every other day. The multi-vitamin was recommended by my RE...the prenatals I have tried upset my stomach.

Just OTC prenatals (1-a-day; I can't swallow those things more often). I also take fish oil capsules originally suggested by MD for dry eye although it seems to be a good thing to continue with regardless since I don't eat enough fish. I am looking for a TCM practitioner around here to try these herbal teas that I've been reading about.

Prenatal, DHA, extra folic acid.
My RE is incredibly open minded when it comes to supplements, he just asks that we clear them through him first so he can research and make sure it won't adversely affect treatment. I'm waiting for him to come up with the list of supplements i'm supposed to start taking after new years, I think it's mostly B vitamins and baby aspirin.

I have tried so many different supplements, and so has DH. The only time we get pregnant is when we're not on anything at all. I'm taking folic acid, and I plan to pick up some prenatals or a multivitamin today while I'm out, but that's it.

L-Carnitine? DH used to take that. He has his SA at the end of the month and I don't want to mess with the results, but maybe I should get him to start taking that again after. Your husband's story is impressive!

Jan. 2009: Came off years of BCP and started TTC
March 2010: BFP -- finally!
Oct. 22, 2010: Drew is born, but has to stay in the NICU because of cord complications resulting in oxygen deprivation and brain problems =(
Oct. 27, 2010: I held him in my arms while Daddy, Grandma, Great-Uncle and I sang him to sleep =( Hardest thing I've ever done...
June 14, 2011: Drew's baby brother or sister waved hi to us with a BFP!
June 25, 2011: Natural miscarriage... Can we please catch a break here?
Nov. 2011: 100mg Clomid followed by 2mg Estrogen, Ovidrel trigger, and 200mg progesterone suppositories 2x/day 14 days. BFN.
Dec. 2011: 2nd medicated cycle. BFN.
Jan. 2012: Took a month off to breathe...
Feb. 2012: Same regimen of Clomid and other meds, add IUI. 2 eggs and 8.5 million swimmers. BFN.
March 2012: 75 IU Follistim CD 3-11, follie scan CD 8 showed 6 follies likely to mature. Triggered, IUI on CD 14, 4 million swimmers. BFN.
April 2012: 75 IU Follistim CD 3-10. Scan showed 2 mature follies, 2 almost certain to mature, and two not likely but possible. (All 6 evenly and perfectly spaced out between the left and the right.) Triggered, IUI CD 13 with 5 million swimmers. BFN.
May 2012: 75 IU Follistim starting CD 3. Waiting to O. Timed intercourse. Likely 5 follies to mature.
