My last AF arriving on Thanksgiving really set me up for a crappy holiday season! Before my last AF, I had 11 day LP's, last AF I had a 14 day LP, not sure what is going to happen this time around but I REALLY REALLY hope that AF decides to come on Christmas Eve (14 DPO) rather than 11 DPO. I say this because I need to do CD 3 blood draws, and if I get it on 11 DPO we may have to stay here in Dover rather than going up to Syracuse for Christmas. I can just see the amount of family members that would be PO'ed at me. There is just no way I'm going to travel on Christmas Eve.

I hope that AF cooperates for you!
One thing I have learned is that you just can't please everyone when it comes to holiday travel. This is our 11th married Christmas, and we have ALWAYS traveled. Of course then there are decisions to be made about who to see first, how long to stay, etc. and it is always stressful. This year we are staying put I hope you find a way to make it all work for you!

I HATE IT when TTC timing messes with the rest of your life. (Or the rest of your life messes with TTC timing, as far as I'm concerned )
DH had to be gone for a week a few months ago, so of course I O'd, like, 5 days after he left =\ UGH. Really hoping AF doesn't mess up your holiday plans.

I wish Jesse would just decide to stay here and have our own holiday. It would be nice and quiet.

Maybe your doctor can call in a perscription for your 3 day blood work to a lab in Syracuse? They would than send your dr the results.
I'd do a search for a lab in that area so that if you do have AF you can be prepared to give your doctors office the information to call it in for you. Or they can write you the RX ahead of time and you can take it with you.
I hope that helps!

I didn't even think of that! Thanks for the advice. I'll call the office right now to see if that is a possibility.
