I am 11 or 12 DPO today. Today is also DH birthday. We are having a dinner party tonight at our house for him. Should I test today? UGH. I HATE POAS! I am not prepared to get a BFN right now.
How exciting would that be to get a BFP on his birthday and right before Christmas? That is just to perfect and chances are so dang low I hate to get my hopes up.
AF should be here Sat, but since I am progestrone I understand it wont come. I go Monday for blood work to see If I have a BFP. I guess if it's a negative he will tell me to stop taking the progesterone and AF will come and we can get the injectables ordered.

At 11-12 DPO. it's usually stillr eally early to get a bfp with anything but FMU. I'd hate for you to get a BFN and have it ruin the day, so if it was me I'd probably hold out on testing a day or two, and if you get a BFP tomorrow you can always tell him you have a belated birthday gift for him

I am not a POAS fan. I don't even have any HPT (can you believe it?) It would defiantly not be FMU.

That's a hard one. It's the same thing I'll be thinking come Dec. 24/25. However, I know I'm weak and will test anyway. If I were you then I would do a urine hold and test, and if it's a BFN just not talk about it with DH, but your plan is better than mine, so I say KUDOS to you!

Jan. 2009: Came off years of BCP and started TTC
March 2010: BFP -- finally!
Oct. 22, 2010: Drew is born, but has to stay in the NICU because of cord complications resulting in oxygen deprivation and brain problems =(
Oct. 27, 2010: I held him in my arms while Daddy, Grandma, Great-Uncle and I sang him to sleep =( Hardest thing I've ever done...
June 14, 2011: Drew's baby brother or sister waved hi to us with a BFP!
June 25, 2011: Natural miscarriage... Can we please catch a break here?
Nov. 2011: 100mg Clomid followed by 2mg Estrogen, Ovidrel trigger, and 200mg progesterone suppositories 2x/day 14 days. BFN.
Dec. 2011: 2nd medicated cycle. BFN.
Jan. 2012: Took a month off to breathe...
Feb. 2012: Same regimen of Clomid and other meds, add IUI. 2 eggs and 8.5 million swimmers. BFN.
March 2012: 75 IU Follistim CD 3-11, follie scan CD 8 showed 6 follies likely to mature. Triggered, IUI on CD 14, 4 million swimmers. BFN.
April 2012: 75 IU Follistim CD 3-10. Scan showed 2 mature follies, 2 almost certain to mature, and two not likely but possible. (All 6 evenly and perfectly spaced out between the left and the right.) Triggered, IUI CD 13 with 5 million swimmers. BFN.
May 2012: 75 IU Follistim starting CD 3. Waiting to O. Timed intercourse. Likely 5 follies to mature.

I do need to stop on the way home for a birthday card. Aren't the HPT close by those cards? hehe! I could pick one up and hang on to till I either drive you girls crazy or get the courage to take it.

We won't kick you off, but we might have to put you in counseling to help you understand that not only do you need to test for yourself, but you need to test for all of us, too

Michelle - Thanks! I will say though...I do love POAS with OPK. Just not HPT.
Melissa - that was funny. Hugging your HPT! lol
So I didn't make it to the store for a card. I just made one so I didn't get a HPT.
I will say though. I am a little fussy today so I think AF is coming. Either that or I am just cranky for being up so late, but I don't think that is it.
