Since Clomid dries me out very, very badly I'm wondering if maybe it's the reason I've not been able to get pregnant yet.

I've taken lots of guaifenesin to try to help, but have not noticed a bit of change... still dry as heck. I'm thinking it's because that will just thin out the existing CM that I have, not produce more... and without having any in the first place there's nothing to thin out.

Just today I have been reading about EPO and how it's supposed to help your body produce more EWCM around O time... has anyone tried this and had it work? PreSeed hasn't worked for us, so now I need to take it a step further.


Anyone try this?

I have not tried EPO, but Clomid definitely made me dry down there...like a desert

Are you being monitored with ultrasounds during your cycle? Clomid can also thin your uterine lining to the point that it makes pregnancy impossible...it did for me with a 50mg dose. I'd ask your doc about both the EPO and being monitored if you aren't already. SOrry I'm not more help!

I was on three cycles of Clomid and it also made me dry. Each cycle getting drier and drier. I used preseed all three cycles and the last two I did start taking EPO. It did seem to help. Still not as good as the real CM but it did help a little. I have now switched to the injectables and have not had that side effect at all. All my CM did return too. I was afraid it wouldn't, but it did the very next cycle I didn't take the clomid.
