It's been an eventful few days. My HPTs went negative from my trigger, then I got a BFP that got a little bit darker (but just a little, SO little) for 3 days, then on Christmas eve it was almost gone, and on Christmas morning my test was white again. It's okay though. I'm pretty bummed, but I have hope for future cycles.
The whole thing that prompted me to see a doc in the first place was the fact that I'd been bleeding for 5 weeks straight (anywhere from spotting to very light flow). The doc took some bloodwork and found that I hadn't ovulated, so we started the Clomid right away to try and trick my body into resuming a normal cycle. I attribute the chemical to my body just not being in a good enough place. Since I DID get pregnant, I feel like we've found a medical regimen that works for us, and I'm optimistic that we'll have our sticky bean within the next couple cycles. It took 13 months to get pregnant with Drew, then 7 months to get pregnant with my miscarriage. The most disappointing aspect of TTC for me has been how long everything was taking -- it felt like I would never get my family. But this poor little chemical bean, if nothing else, at least gave me hope for the future. Fingers crossed for a better outcome next time.
I haven't really wanted to talk about any of it here, so I disappeared for a little bit. I'm back now though, and looking forward to seeing some other BFPs while I wait for it to be my turn again

If so I'll feel a little better about chatting it up here right away. I was just too shy this time I guess. Thank you both.

I am sorry about that Erin that it was not successful. But good that you have a medical regimen.

Aw, Erin, this SUCKS!!
You sound like you have an amazing attitude, though, and you might be right that your body just wasn't in prime condition after such a wacky cycle. I hope that your plan works again very, very soon. I'm ready to send you back to a DDC asap

I'm so, so sorry things didn't work this time around. I am glad though to hear that it sounds like you have a plan that will work for you, and really hope that the next cycle ends with a BFP that sticks!!
