Tomorrow I go for my CD3 bloodwork and u/s. The nurse is leaving my prescription to start the bcp at the front desk. She said I'm on bcp until they tell me to stop (usually around 2 weeks) and then the injections start for my first IVF cycle. I'm going to be doing 300 units of Follistim with 150 units of Menopur. Once the follicles are big enough, I'll take Ganirelix on top of those medications to supress my surge until we're ready for it. I'm nervous about the IM HCG shot & IM progesterone shots after the transfer, but I know we'll get through them. I've been going to acupuncture 2x a week now to help me relax. I never thought that it would, but it seems to really help me overall.

I am hoping that this is the answer to our prayers! We decided to not freeze any embryos this time, but if it doesn't work and I have to do another retrieval then I will freeze them at that point. We are putting an addition on our house right now, so we need as much money in our account as possible for things that come up with that! It's $1200 upfront for the freezing...if we have to do it again, we'll put the money up!
