What has been your plan?

I've been going 2 times a week since the middle of December. My acupuncturist and I talked about my schedule yesterday, which is still up in the air because I don't have firm dates since I'm still on the bcp until I get the go-ahead to start injections.

Do you go the day before and the day after your transfer? What points does the acupuncturist focus on during those appointments?

Sorry I'm not doing IVF (yet), so I can't really yelp. Right now he said he bases the treatment on where I am in my cycle: toning the uterus now that we're in the luteal phase. Since I just started, I don't know what's next.

Hi Mandy. I went twice a week until transfer. I went the day before transfer and then again the next day (about 5 hours after transfer). I didn't go again for the rest of the cycle. I can't actually remember what points they did during those sessions. All I can remember is that she didn't do any in my belly right after transfer. They were mostly in my feet, legs and head.

Thanks, Jenn! I plan on continuing twice a week, but the acupuncturist said that if I felt like I only wanted to come once a week, I could do that too. I think with my type A personality, I need the 2 days of calm per week.

He will do a session the day before and the day after transfer. He has treated other infertility patients, but says most of his clients come for pain management. I'm going to do a little research as to where the needles should go after the transfer since you remember not having any in your belly.
