Well - Girls weekend snowboarding trip is just a few days away. The big house we rented for the weekend has a hot tub.
My RE said no restrictions. I didn't ask him about the hot tub though... What do you guys think?
If by the Grace of God I am pregnant I would be 10DPO. I wasn't planning on using the hot tub, just in case. Now I am thinking maybe I should do the dreaded POAS to be safe. I go back to RE on Wed for blood test. I'd prefer to wait till then to find out if this medicated iui cycle worked.
I think I will call the office to be safe and ask about the hot tub. Here is how it goes...if I drink all weekend and snowboard yard and grind some rails and hang out in the hot tub I will be pregnant. If I don't drink, barley snowboard and don't do the hot tub I won't be pregnant.

I'd do the hot tub, but be wise about it. Don't stay in for too long, push water into your system so you don't dehydrate/overheat, etc.

 As long as you are careful about it, I think you'll be fine. Your trip sounds like SOOOOOO much fun!

Well just so you know I just got of the phone with the Dr. I can go in the hot tub. However I can't snowboard? WHAT? He said no restictions before. Then he said he didn't realize I'd be snowboarding at age 41. (he always jokes with me about my age)
He said my ovaries are still swollen and I am still bloated and I my overies could twist. Then I'd ruin what little chance I have of even conceiving at all as it is. UGH! Well heck, I am glad I called.
He said he would like for me to come in Friday morning and they would look at my ovaries and he would tell me for sure, but he doubts he will approve me snowboarding. Well heck, now what...I can't shop either cause I am broke from these treatments! lol
It's all good - I am glad I called. I can however, be in the hot tub! Woo hoo!

Do they have a tubing/sledding hill at the place you are going? Maybe that could be an option since snowboarding is out.

Better safe than sorry, I guess?! I'm bummed for you, but hoping that the end result is completely worth it.
Drinking hot chocolate is DEFINITELY allowed, though...somehow on a snowy mountain it is even more delicious

Well I will go in tomorrow am or Friday am and they can do an U/S on me to see if my girls are swollen. I think if they tell me no snowboarding I will ask about tubing.
I am almost considering not even going now. But I hate for the TTCMA to control all of my life, including my finances and now my Girl fun too!

Well at least you can hot tub! Bummer about the snowboarding, it can still be a fun girls weekend though. Bring a book and relax.
I'm for the POAS too!!! I started mine today at 7DPO  I think you should too!

Took a break from all meds this summer.
9/2011: - Start with new RE - testing begins.
10/2011: - Hysteroscopy - determine tubes are blocked.
10/2011 : - Laparoscopy - clip blocked tubes, determine right ovary is adhered to pelvic wall, cut adhesions
11/24/2011: IVF cycle #1 begins. Start stims.
12/2/2011: End stims. HCG trigger.
12/4/2011: Egg Retrieval. 9 eggs, only 1 embryo.
12/7/2011: Transfer.
12/20/2011: IVF #1 failed.
1/16/2012: IVF #2 first scan

Dr. office called me today to tell me not to forget to come in tomorrow am if I still planned on going snowboarding. Also said she talked to the DR and he said hot tub was out too. UGH!
So I'll be going there first thing in the am and then leaving for NY for some girls weekend fun. I wont be able to update you guys on what happened unless I get bored and use my phone to log on and send an update. I am guess I wont be able to board though. I am still bloated and my left ovary is still twingy and a little hurty. I will be 8dpo tomorrow. I wonder if he will just take a blodo test or will it just be to early?

Soooo basically you're down to hot chocolate. I HATE how this takes over our lives. One day it will all be worth it, but in the moment it's SO UNFAIR.

Jan. 2009: Came off years of BCP and started TTC
March 2010: BFP -- finally!
Oct. 22, 2010: Drew is born, but has to stay in the NICU because of cord complications resulting in oxygen deprivation and brain problems =(
Oct. 27, 2010: I held him in my arms while Daddy, Grandma, Great-Uncle and I sang him to sleep =( Hardest thing I've ever done...
June 14, 2011: Drew's baby brother or sister waved hi to us with a BFP!
June 25, 2011: Natural miscarriage... Can we please catch a break here?
Nov. 2011: 100mg Clomid followed by 2mg Estrogen, Ovidrel trigger, and 200mg progesterone suppositories 2x/day 14 days. BFN.
Dec. 2011: 2nd medicated cycle. BFN.
Jan. 2012: Took a month off to breathe...
Feb. 2012: Same regimen of Clomid and other meds, add IUI. 2 eggs and 8.5 million swimmers. BFN.
March 2012: 75 IU Follistim CD 3-11, follie scan CD 8 showed 6 follies likely to mature. Triggered, IUI on CD 14, 4 million swimmers. BFN.
April 2012: 75 IU Follistim CD 3-10. Scan showed 2 mature follies, 2 almost certain to mature, and two not likely but possible. (All 6 evenly and perfectly spaced out between the left and the right.) Triggered, IUI CD 13 with 5 million swimmers. BFN.
May 2012: 75 IU Follistim starting CD 3. Waiting to O. Timed intercourse. Likely 5 follies to mature.

Trip was fun. It was good being with my girl friends. Although I couldn't snowboard, drink or hot tub I still had a good time. I relaxed and enjoyed the quite time while everyone else was snowbaordng. I was a little sad I wasn't in any of the pictures all geared up in the mountains but I am in the rest of them.
All weekend long the girls all talked like I would be pregnant so hopefully all the postitive reinforcement worked. I figure I would have been implanting this weekend IF we got lucky enough to have a fertilized eggy. I haven't had any cramping or implantation bleeding or anything though.
I am still having slight pains on and off in my ovaries and I am still bloated. My bb's where hurting all weekend again, but now today they aren't. UGH!
Blood test in two days!
