Both DH and I are 28. We have one little boy conceived with 100mg Clomid and timed intercourse in 2009. I never went on bc after having him, and while we didn't try, we didn't exactly prevent either. In June, DH finally relented for baby 2. After 1 cycle of Clomid, I was PG. I lost that baby at almost 10w after seeing a heartbeat, and then no heartbeat on the next ultrasound. I took cytotec to induce a miscarriage. We had to wait 3 periods before my OB would prescribe Clomid again. We conceived again on the first round, and again miscarried at 8.5w. I had a D&C on Dec. 15th.
After the second loss, I needed a plan, so I decided to see an RE. I went in thinking that I might just do IVF, but knowing that my problem was ovulation, thinking a monitored letrozole cycle with IUI and luteal phase progesterone would be the best option. She agreed. BUT, on ultrasound my ovaries were tiny, and my AFC was low. Whether that is truly how my ovaries are, or whether it was in response to my last pregnancy, and residual hcg, she wasn't sure. So, now, we are planning a hybrid cycle for two attempts, and then IVF, all pending AMH and day 3 labs. I find it funny that I've gotten pregnant so easily with only Clomid, when now I'm sitting here with DOR.
So, in short, I will be joining you ladies!!

My AMH will be back sometime next week, and since my hcg was still at 123 on Thursday, we haven't drawn day 3 labs. We will do that with my next period. I am hoping to do my HSG and start my meds at that time, too. Let's hope 2012 is a fertile year for all of us!!

So sorry about your losses, I can't imagine how hard your journey has been so far, but I really hope 2012 is it for you and your next BFP is super sticky.
