This question is geared toward ladies that have used Clomid before. In doing research before starting my clomid this cycle, I mostly read about women that had their CM completely or mostly dry up before ovulating, so they turned to preseed or something similar to help assist the sperm getting to where they needed to go. Anyway, I should be approaching O here this week sometime, and I am noticing tons of CM. Mostly pretty watery right now, but it is thickening up slightly and getting stretchy, just like fertile CM should. I guess I just didn't expect this since I've read about so many dry clomid users. However, I am also concerned that this is what is considered "hostile" cm. Anyone else ever have this before?

I am going to wait and see how this cycle goes before I worry too much about it, but I was just hoping to get some shared experiences from any of you ladies here. I will be turning to preseed next cycle if it doesn't work this time.

TIA!

Mine did almost dry up from the very first month I used it. I did use pre-seed to help. Once I stopped taking it my cm came right back.

I would doubt your CM would be hostile inviroment now becuase of the clomid. If it is hostile now then it was before too from my understanding. I am glad you haven't lost your cm though!

Thanks for your response!

I think I still have lots of cm because I am only on the lowest dosage of clomid, so maybe that is why I am not really seeing any of the side effects. Good to know about the hostile cm. I just wondered if the clomid could make it hostile or not. That helps!

I don't think I've ever had issues with CM on clomid, but I always have plenty of CM, so that might make a difference

I was desert-dry on Clomid...only 50mg. If we hadn't used PreSeed or something similar, we couldn't even have BDed

Sounds like you and Clomid are getting along okay so far...good luck!

I had no CM on 100mg Clomid, sometimes I got a little watery stuff but mostly totally dry. We tried to use preseed but DH hates it, so I had to sneak it lol. Since you are on the lowest dosage you might not have any issues with CM, and also it is different for every woman. I get massive headaches at the beginning of clomid, which from what I have read isn't so common. So if you have some good looking CM, I wouldn't worry too much.

Thanks, ladies!

Yeah so far so good on the Clomid. I am just surprised I have so much CM. This is more than usual, so I am taking that as a good sign I have had the headaches though. Ugh. Definitely could be worse though!
