Hi everyone! Starting TTC#2 and I am so excited. I have PCOS so I need help with ovulating. I had my son Brendan 12/7/10 and we conceived him on the first injectable cycle. We did Gonal-F with IUI and it worked the first time. I dont respond to Clomid so we are going to do the same plan and hope it works the first time again! Started Provera tonight to induce my period and will probably start Gonal-F end of next week or the weekend

Congratulations on the decision to grow your family Can I ask how many follicles you ended up with from the Gonal injections?

Hi there! We did a cycle with Gonal-F and he gave me a very low dose because of my age and because I need help with ovulation not due to unexplained infertility so we did it for about a week and a half then he raised my dose and about a week in in I had a bunch of follicles. We decided to stop because I had been on the shots for awhile and he was worried about the quality of eggs and also the probability of multiples at that point. got my period and then we did 75mg for 5 days and I produced one perfect sized follicle and a few smaller ones. Got my first IUI the afternoon after triggering with Ovidrel and then the next morning another IUI.
What did you do for this cycle?

Good luck and welcome Jamie! My son's name is also Brendan He was born 8/29/2010 and was a Clomid +trigger+IUI baby. I am not currently TTC, but we are thinking we will go back to the RE this August or September. I hope your journey this time goes as quick and happy as your last!
