I need a little advice...I took a couple internet cheapies on 8 DPO, 9 DPO, and 10 DPO, no line of any sort on the 8 DPO but the 9 and 10 ended up with super faint lines "after" the time limit, not much after but still after, disregard them, I know, but having no line then 3 super faint ones 3 times in a row has got me wondering...I haven't taken a test since 10 DPO and today is my 8 year anniversary and I am 13 DPO, I so badly want to take a real test to share on my anniversary with my husband if by chance it was positive but if its negative I am afraid it could ruin the rest of our anniversary and dinner tonight, what should I do? I have 2 e.p.t digitals (expire this month), 2 answer early's, 4 dollar trees, and about 5 more internet cheapies...no spotting yet, af is due tomorrow, though a lot of times I won't spot until the day she is due...what would you do?

Since the tests expire this month I say take one today. It won't ruin your day.
By the way yesterday was our 8 year anniversary.  We spent it going to our RE's office.

2/2011 - IUI + Femara + HCG trigger and Progesterone injection BFN
3/2011 - IUI + Femara + HCG trigger and Progesterone injection
4/2011 - not doing IUI - DH out of town
5/2011 - IUI with Femara and HCG trigger. In hospital due to infection from IUI.
Took a break from all meds this summer.
9/2011: - Start with new RE - testing begins.
10/2011: - Hysteroscopy - determine tubes are blocked.
10/2011 : - Laparoscopy - clip blocked tubes, determine right ovary is adhered to pelvic wall, cut adhesions
11/24/2011: IVF cycle #1 begins. Start stims.
12/2/2011: End stims. HCG trigger.
12/4/2011: Egg Retrieval. 9 eggs, only 1 embryo.
12/7/2011: Transfer.
12/20/2011: IVF #1 failed.
1/16/2012: IVF #2 first scan

Happy Anniversary! So you got married on a Friday then huh? Sorry it was spent going to the RE but if no BFP this month we'll be back at the RE next week  ....hesitant to use the a digital today though which is the ones that expire since I am not sure if they are as early of detectors?

DONT DO IT! BFN could potentially hurt your anniversary plans! AF is disappointing enough...just wait it out. Enjoy your husband and lets pray AF doesn't come! You can always show him the BFP after AF doesn't come and then you can celebrate again.
Don't listen to these girls - they will have you POAS when it's not even a stick. Like they will get you to pee on your fork or something at dinner. They are pee crazy! Stay with me! Someone!

lol thanks but your message came too late, I tested "Not Pregnant"...but since I was completely expecting it, I am ok...dh is getting another SA done after his varicocele repair (4 months since), that will determine IUI or IVF for us. No more internet cheapies for me, in the trash they went!

Well as long as you are okay after getting your BFN then that is what matters.

Gosh I hope his numbers got better after his surgery. Mine has that too but it's super small and he opted not to have the surgery because his numbers are all good except his morphology.

Thank you ladies, we had a nice night out at The Cheesecake Factory, I didn't let the BFN bother me. I will let you know how the repair went, his varicocele was on the smaller to medium size but it was the main suspect in his borderline low testosterone, his counts were fairly normal, on the lower side of normal but his morph was low and motility fluctuated between a little low and normal...considered mild to moderate male factor, praying the repair has made a difference!
