I seem to have several requests for a running thread with testing updates, so here goes! Check back often for updates and more sticks

The story for those of you who don't know...I had a frozen embryo transfer last Friday (the 20th) and transferred two gorgeous blasts. Transfer day is equivalent to 5DPO. My beta is on the 30th. Here are our babies:

And here are my sticks so far. I don't really expect to see anything until 10 or 11DPO, but I can't help myself

Here's my next update...just to give you a full array of the tests I have on hand I am labeling the day of the tests and the time of the test (military time, sorry!).

The IC has some sort of shadow, but there is definitely no color IRL and it was taken after the time limit.

Okay, here is my PM test taken at supper time. I swear I can see a line IRL, but whether or not it has color is debatable.

Here are my 10DPO FMU tests:

I am still a little hesitant to believe that this is real, but I don't have to squint to see this one.

Two tests taken this afternoon. The IC is still stark white.

Here are tonight's tests...10DPO at about 9pm.

My last pregnancy, my lines never got darker and my betas were so low they told me that the pregnancy was not viable (although everything ended up okay). These darker lines are really helping me calm my fears

Okay, here are my 11DPO SMU tests (I realized after I took the pics that I didn't label them all, but they are from the same cup of pee). I'm losing my faith in ICs. The third test down is an Equate test from Wal-Mart that says "compare to First Response" on the box.

And just for fun, here are my last four FRERs so you can see the progression.

Here is my 11DPO PM test and an OPK just for fun. I have a digi OPK that I'll take in another day or two.

Okay, here are my morning tests!

You might wonder why I keep peeing on digis...obviously they will be the same every time! The battery dies after about 24-30 hours, and I like to have one that still works laying on my counter so I can stare at it

And, to test the OPK-as-an-HPT theory, I used a CBE digi OPK this morning, and to my surprise, got this:

Another test!

Claire's official Big Sister moment:

I didn't do an FMU test this morning, but here's 13DPO SMU:

More pictures! The first is of my tests this evening, and then I lined up my last several FRERs for a fun comparison shot.

Here are my 14DPO SMU tests...an FRER and the other Equate test:

Here are the latest two tests:

I'm leaving in about an hour for my beta...should be able to post results this afternoon

Beta is 177 @ 15dpo!

I threw away all my used pee-sticks this morning and swore I was done testing. Ha ha...I should have known that I couldn't just quit cold turkey. So, here are my evening tests

16dpo SMU tests:

All the FRERs until the 15dpo PM test were purchased from Amazon.com at the same time. They came 3 to a box and had the pink wrapper.

Starting with the 15dpo PM test, the FRERs are from Target. They also have pink wrapper, and are supposed to be 2 in a box, but they have a free test in each box.

Surprisingly, the tests are quite different. The Target FRERs feel cheaper...the plastic caps are thinner, the pee takes much longer to absorb into the test, the whole test is lighter by weight, and the lines look different. I'm not sure how else to explain it, but they certainly are NOT the same tests. I don't know if they manufacture certain tests for certain stores or if they have recently cut the quality of their tests, but it was disappointing to me to open the box from Target last night.
______

Here is last night's test, as well as one from this morning. I am anxiously awaiting my RE's call with the results of beta #2!

Second beta is 338! Doubling time was about 51 hours...I'll take that My next appointment is next Tuesday, the 7th, for an ultrasound.

Well, I think my POAS thread has run its course! I have a few tests left that I will pee on if I feel the need to reassure myself over the next few days, but I think it is probably time for me to move on and try to relax and enjoy this as much as possible.

Thank you so much for cheering me on and taking this journey with me...I hope I am looking at your BFP pics very soon

Can't help it...one last pic

And if you have ever wondered about the "hook effect" of home pregnancy tests...here is one for you.

I was worried about my lines in the last IC set above...the lines looked lighter. Thinking it might be this "hook effect" because my HCG was climbing higher, I decided to do a little experiment.

For the first test, I peed in a cup about 1/3 full. Then I filled the rest of the cup with water, stirred the diluted pee mixture, and did the second test. I actually got a darker test with the diluted pee I never would have thought, but I guess this is why you (or I!) should STOP testing...you can drive yourself mad looking at tests and trying to compare them.

One final update...these were twin hpts after all! We have two little heartbeats (two sacs) and are over the moon!

I think I might see something on you 9dpo SMU one. Maybe someone can play with that one and get the line to show up better.

I know it is risky saying things like this out loud...it might make me look crazy or silly or both...BUT, I have to say that the first thought I had when my RE showed me that picture is "boy/girl twins." The one on the left looks like a boy, and the one on the right, a girl
