So my progesterone check (prior to starting Prometrium this cycle) came back at a level of 19 @~5DPO, which is much better than last cycle (unmedicated and was at 9.2 where they considered 10 minimum acceptable) and the nurse simply said it was in the good range for having been on Clomid & Ovidrel.

Meanwhile, I've stupidly tested twice - i am a glutton for punishment clearly - to stark BFNs. I think I'm approx DPO8 on assumption that I O'd on Tue after triggering Monday night...it's possible I O'd Wed, i'm a little confused on when ovulation generally happens post trigger and i had a lot of ovary pain on both sides on Wed.

I've had a lot of twingy cramping, which I'd like to think is positive, but now i'm kind of worried it's just an after effect of the Clomid. It's different than my normal cycle, which my me think it was a good sign...but then I remind myself it's my first time taking Clomid & Ovidrel so really I have no idea what's "normal"

For those who have taken either Clomid or Ovidrel...did you have side effects like mild cramping throughout the 2ww?

When I took clomid I didn't have cramping at all. We did iui with femara and ovidrel and I did have cramping around that time. I seriously thought I was about to start like everyday which ended up me being pregnant. 8dpo is still so early so i'm keeping my fingers crossed those bfns turn into bfps in a few days.

You can totally be crampy all through the 2ww with clomid. I've not had it every cycle, but had it a few times. It also could be a good sign, it's hard to tell since this is your first combo cycle. If you triggered monday night, you most likely O'd on Wednesday morning, as you ovulate about 36 hrs post trigger normally. I'd not expect to see anything until at least friday, which would be 10 DPO based on that. Don;t give up, its still early! good luck!

Do you think it's possible/likely that I could have ovulated as late as Wed night (48 hours after trigger)? I ask because I had a lot of pain on both sides (enough to lay down it hurt!) Wed night, but that seemed late given when i took trigger.

I'm bracing myself for disappointment that the cramping means nothing and is Clomid related...

It could even be that late, or it could have just been your ovaries reacting to the release of the follicle as well. my guess though is sometime wednesday for sure.

I agree with the other ladies that the cramping could be drug-related, implantation-related, or both. I know that doesn't help, sorry

I hope this is your cycle...my fingers are crossed!

I have the cramping this cycle too. It's more on my right side, and it really doesn't feel like af cramps (especially since I have a 15 day luteal phase, so it couldn't be af). But now my boobs that are normally sore from o to af stopped being sore a few days ago and now only my nips hurt. I think my body is reacting differently to the clomid and ovidrel. I've felt the clomid cramps before, but they weren't this frequent last time. Bah I keep overthinking things. All I want for superbowl sunday is a BFP!
(i put the penalty person because it's the closest i could find to a football related icon LOL)

I hope you get your "win" on Super Bowl Sunday too! I don't know how you're able to resist testing early

I was feeling more optimistic about this cycle, but now i'm not IDK, usually be DP08-9 I feel "off" and my temp is usually abnormally high too (close to 99). Other than the cramping - which I now discount because it sounds like it could be Clomid or Ovidrel induced - I don't really have any symptoms
